THE ROLE
As a Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for facilitating the business expertise necessary to deliver the successful scoping, planning, influencing, development and test marketing of new products whilst also manage outgoing skus and own your portfolio Lifecyle of core range and processes for CCEP.
This is a dynamic and highly challenging role which requires strong thought leadership, influencing and collaboration as it scopes, partners in the testing of new processes and growth opportunities.
You will possess strong business acumen and ideally have some experience in Supply Chain/Operational, Strategy, NPD, Sales, and have developed in a fast-paced FMCG environment. Your well-developed project management, decision making and influencing skills, as well as an ability to effectively communicate, problem solve and think outside the box will be called upon daily. Working with Strategy, Marketing, Sales, Commercial, Supply Chain teams, your ability to collaborate, engage, develop and leverage strong working relationships will be essential for success in this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Champion, Scope and Manage projects from idea to NPD launch to ensure new products are tested and launched as soon as possible - on time and on budget.  Opportunity areas include initiatives such as:

Partnering with CCSP marketing & technical resources

70% of what we do is core NPD’s and Portfolio management of sku Lifecyle 
20% of what we do is Transform (supported by Futureworks, Change Mgt Project Leaders, Strategic Project Leaders)
10% of what we do is New Model / Other Revenue Streams e.g. PSD as income stream (ideation through to commercialisation into non beverage opportunity areas).


Project management to scope out manufacturing solution, primary and secondary packaging and co-packing capabilities, including location; cost & timing, consumer tests, trials and importation of allocated projects
Be the lead contact between Strategy, Supply, Marketing, Sales and Gatekeepers for all your portfolio
Proactively drive projects forward, ensuring launch is as early as possible and all barriers are addressed and managed through with the appropriate stakeholders.
Organise project information/considerations to develop business cases with recommendations on how to proceed. Identifying and addressing barriers to success.  Project management Identifying key issues, alternatives and required next steps.
Work closely with Commercial teams and partners to ensure all NPD related costs (Logistics, Capex, Plate Costs, Write Offs, Line Trials) are managed to within allocated budget/approvals.
Analyse your whole portfolio and recommend ways forward to stop, amplify, pivot your projects, working closely with the category strategy and RGM’s teams will then create a proactive recommendation back to the business weather this is to support a brand/sales or supply chain initiative
Budget Management for line tests and trials
Timeline management (delivery as per agreements with key stakeholders).
Timely completion of business cases (CAPEX), stage gate documentations and other adhoc reports as required.
Effective integration of New Product projects into your portfolio and gate processes
Effecti ve integration of Exiting skus for your portfolio and gate processes

Monitor and mitigate ongoing and emerging security threats, providing expert advice. Implement supply chain security programs, incident response plans and crisis management plans whilst supporting the Emergency Response Team Foster relationships with law enforcement, government agencies, local French embassy and private security providers. Become the point of contact for security support required by all international and domestic travellers, including International Assignees in the country. Provide guidance to security correspondents on security procedures and security measures related to physical security design, guarding services, technical security,  and crisis response. About you Experience: A strong background in security management. Sound knowledge of information security risk management, cybersecurity technologies. Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and Certified Fraud Examiner certifications desirable Proficiency in security tools and systems. Experience in Crisis Management within a corporate environment. Proven track record in corporate security, crisis management, or related fields. A self-motivator with the ability to achieve goals under minimal supervision. Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve security goals. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Effective communication skills to collaborate across diverse teams. About QIMR Berghofer: QIMR Berghofer is a world-leading translational medical research institute focused on improving health by developing new diagnostics, better treatments and prevention strategies, specifically in the areas of Cancer, Infection and Inflammation, Mental Health and Neuroscience, and Population Health. Based in Herston, Brisbane and working in close collaboration with clinicians and other research institutes, QIMR Berghofer is home to more than 600 scientists, students and non-research staff. About Animal Facility: The Scientific Services Department plays a key role in providing support services to the researchers and within this, the Veterinary service in conjunction with the Animal Facility is a vital component. The position of Manager - Veterinary provides best in class veterinary services, advice and expertise in compliance with the Australian code for the care and use of animals for scientific purposes, mandated under the Queensland Animal Care and Protection Act. Working closely with scientists and students, this facility is world class and one of the largest in Australia. Role Purpose / Responsibilities Seeking a talented Veterinary leader for maternity leave coverage (with potential to extend) to support growth and advancement of our world class animal facility within the Scientific Services department, to support cutting edge medical research. The following duties will apply:

Promotes and supports best practice in the use of animals for scientific purposes at QIMR Berghofer,
Assists in the skills development and competency assessment of personnel that use or care for research animals at the Institute.
Identify and implement procedures/systems to assist the Institute to meet relevant legislation and codes of practice in the breeding, teaching and experimental use of animals.
Conduct facility inspections and animal care program reviews.
Provide veterinary services to QIMR Berghofer, maintaining compliance with the requirements of the Queensland Veterinary Surgeons Act.
Ensure Veterinary Premises Registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Queensland and oversee the management of the animal surgical suite located within the registered premises.
Manage and oversee the program of veterinary care (PVC) to meet the objectives of the Australian code for the care and use of animals for scientific purposes.
Manage and provide veterinary and animal welfare advice for quality management and project design to safeguard animal wellbeing.
Oversee animal welfare in collaboration with researchers, animal facility and the AEC.
Contribute to Institute policy, procedure and guideline development, review and implementation, related to the care and use of animals for scientific purposes.
  About you: 

Demonstrated leadership skills
Degree in Veterinary Science (or equivalent) from an approved university and eligible for registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Queensland. Registration is required before commencement.
Post-graduate qualification in either: laboratory animal medicine, laboratory animal science, animal welfare, veterinary behavioural science, veterinary pathology or veterinary anaesthesia/analgesia.
Experience in husbandry, behaviour, medicine, anaesthesia, surgery, and pathology of laboratory rodents (including GMOs).
Demonstrated understanding of legislation and codes relevant for the use of animals for scientific purposes in Queensland and ability to interpret and apply to the Institute.
Proven ability to produce written protocols for animal procedures and implement changes to improve processes.
Demonstrated understanding of animal biosecurity and regulation of genetically modified organisms as relates to scientific animal use.
Remuneration: Salary range is $114,801 to $123,789 p.a.  plus super and salary packaging. This is a fixed term appointment for 12 months (parental leave cover position), commencing in December 2023.
