About The Hospital:
North Canberra Hospital (formerly Calvary Public Hospital Bruce) and Clare Holland House are now operated by Canberra Health Services (CHS). This marks an important step as the ACT Government progresses toward the development of a new billion-dollar hospital on Canberra’s Northside.
Currently, North Canberra Hospital is a level 4 facility that offers a variety of acute and sub-acute services, including community-based care, to residents of northern Canberra and Southern NSW. The hospital has 270 beds and operates a 24-hour Emergency Department. Inpatient services encompass general medicine, surgery, maternity, mental health, and critical care.
Additional services include day surgery, specialist outpatient clinics, Hospital in the Home, and the Geriatric Rapid Acute Care Evaluation service, which extends to aged care facilities across the ACT.
The new Northside Hospital will be constructed on the existing campus in Bruce, featuring modern, state-of-the-art facilities for patients, visitors, and staff, with more beds and enhanced services. In the meantime, operations at North Canberra Hospital will continue as usual, ensuring high-quality care for our patients and the community.

• Demonstrate competence to perform the role of Instrument/Circulating nurse as per ACORN standards and organisational policy and guidelines.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care.
• Uphold national standards and guidelines while ensuring the highest level of care.
