Catholic Healthcare, is a leading Aged Care provider that is experiencing significant growth and has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced professional to join our Property Team as Senior Manager, Facilities Management.

As a Senior Manager, you will report directly to the Chief Property Officer and will oversee a team of Regional Building Managers and a Property Services Coordinator.  You will be responsible for all aspects of our vast $1.2 Bn property portfolio ensuring property and asset management, client services and contractor management, maintenance while ensuring a safe and compliant environment.

In this integral role, you will provide leadership and coaching to empower your team to deliver the key success factors of:

• Developing and implementing the maintenance and asset plans and budgets across all sites
• Partnering with and supporting Managers to ensure maintenance, asset and contractor management activities are completed in full, on time and in budget.
• Ensuring all maintenance procedures comply with relevant legislation, regulations, and safety standards.

Your practical and proactive approach, coupled with your passion for maintaining and improving organisational assets, property and processes, will be instrumental in managing our property portfolio.

The ideal applicant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively across cross functional teams and with other internal and external stakeholders, in addition to;

• University or trade qualification
• Minimum 8 years' experience in portfolio asset / property management, maintenance of building, plant and equipment & maintenance services
• Strong Interpersonal and communication skills to influence and advise internal and external stakeholders
• Experience in developing and implementing new procedures and IT systems
• Ability to travel to sites across NSW & QLD where required

In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Chief Property Officer, and will be fully responsible for managing the acquisition and disposal of properties in our vast aged care portfolio.

The key focus will be in the implementation of strategic plans for property acquisition and disposal.  You will need to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to ensure all opportunities are aligned with the overall organisational goals and that all transactions comply with relevant regulations and are managed within pre-determined budgets.

The ideal applicant will need to be a strategic thinker that can build strong relationships to ensure successful implementation. You must also have excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively across cross-functional teams and with other internal and external stakeholders.

Additionally you will require:

• Minimum 10+ years demonstrated relevant experience
• Strong understanding of property law, aged care regulations, compliance and quality standards
• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Property Development, Property Valuation business, or a related field. Eg Business. Masters degree or relevant certification preferred
• Knowledge of risk management principles, methodologies, and best practices
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision making skills
• Must be able to provide evidence or Covid19 Immunisations

This role is  a 2-year maximum term contract however as a growing organisation there may be other opportunities in the future with Catholic Healthcare.

In this role, your main responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating administration, reporting, procedures, documentation and contracts to ensure optional functioning of properties. 
• Sourcing and managing Catholic Healthcare leases and licences
• Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effectively delivery of required services  
• Ensuring all property and maintenance procedures are compliant with legislation, regulations and safety standards

Your strong organisational skills, ability to multitask and build strong relationships will be vital to your success in this role.

You will also require:

• Qualifications in Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field
• Previous experience in property management, real estate, or a related field.
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing property management

SGS is looking for a casual sample preparer to join the team in Port Headland.

Responsibilities include, however not limited to:

• operating various sampling and sample preparation equipment as: crushers, dividers, pulverizes, screen shakers as well as packing and sorting samples.  Duties may include weekend, public holiday and after hours work.
• Conducting moisture determination and sample preparation duties on mineral commodities 
• Record and Report results of the samples testing 
• Service and Maintenance – Maintain and service equipment to ensure inspections can be completed in a timely manner.
• From time to time and as necessary conduct inspection of all vessels loading/discharging supervision, ensuring concise recording and reporting of details to SGS global standards and procedures.
• Inspecting, sampling and testing and other operational work which may include weekend, public holiday and after hours work.
• Performs routine duties of a manual nature associated with the effective operation of the port and branch operations.
