We have an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned hospitality professional to step into a senior leadership role within our Front Office team as a Senior Duty Manager on a full-time basis. Reporting to our Front Office Manager, the Senior Duty Manager will oversee all aspects of Front Office operations including reception, guest relations, reservations, and telephones during shifts, while ensuring the delivery of unparalleled guest experiences.

In this role you will:

• Oversee the seamless operation of the hotel, maintaining our reputation as a market leader in personalized, customer-focused service within the hotel locality.

• Drive the achievement of the hotel's key performance indicators (KPIs) related to RPS, NPS, Loyalty, and room upselling.

• Ensure the effective operation of the night audit function in coordination with the Financial Controller, ensuring accuracy while maintaining guest satisfaction.

• Supervise the handling of VIPs and special guests, ensuring their needs are met and loyalty is upheld.

The role

As part of a team of experienced aged care professionals, your role will involve you visiting aged care facilities to assess residents using the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) assessment tool. This position will be located in or close to Rockhampton and will undertake AN-ACC assessments at residential aged care services across the Fitzroy aged care planning region (ACPR) on behalf of the Department of Health and Aged Care. These visits require travel within the Fitzroy ACPR with the potential for overnight stays for more remote facilities.

Comprehensive training and support will be provided (no prior knowledge of the AN-ACC assessment tool is required). Applicants who have been trained as AN-ACC assessors or currently work as AN-ACC assessors will be considered favourably.

On offer:

• Highly attractive salary – $104,550 salary p.a. + 11.5% super (FTE)
• Sign-on bonus of $5,000 (due to the workforce shortages in the area a sign-on bonus is available for this position)
• Permanent PT position (0.8 FTE)
• Hours: Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm
• Full training provided in the use and application of the new assessment tool
• All technical equipment including laptop and phone
• Reimbursement of travel expenses 

Required:

• 5+ years of experience as a RN, Physio or OT in the aged care sector.
• Current, general, unrestricted AHPRA registration.
• Valid driver's license and reliable car.
• Flexible attitude and ability to adapt to changing environment or circumstances.
• Willingness to travel to regional/remote facilities.
• Able to work unsupervised within a diverse and widely located team.
• Meet all Department of Health and Aged Care Vaccination requirements.
