• Design and manage Eku’s global media, communications and engagement strategy.

• Enhance and protect Eku’s brand reputation, acting as brand guardian and ambassador internally and externally.

• Lead media activity and engagement, working with external agencies as appropriate, to prepare and distribute press releases, engage media and ensure consistent, targeted and high-quality coverage globally.

• Oversee the development of all communications collateral to support company announcements, milestones and public engagement activities.

• Brief senior executives and the global business, preparing proactive key messages and collateral to support internal and external activities (i.e. presentations, investor briefings, media relations).

• Manage and continuously improve Eku’s online presence including web, LinkedIn and other modes of engagement, including media monitoring.

• Oversee and coordinate the company’s global events calendar and attendance, including pitching for speaker opportunities as appropriate, and ensuring all company attendees are briefed and supported appropriately.

• To be responsible and to design and deliver community and stakeholder engagement strategies at a project and portfolio level.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including shareholders, partners, media, suppliers, local communities, First Nations representatives and broader project stakeholders.

• Design, implement and oversee Eku’s Community Grants and Partnership initiatives.

• Support internal communications, including intranet development, and work with the People & Culture department to develop our employee brand and offering.

• Work collaboratively across the global organisation to coordinate and drive marketing and communication efforts, including the management of third-party suppliers and agencies.

• Manage, monitor and report on the effectiveness and impact of communications activity and spend globally.

• Develop and implement robust policies and frameworks for communications activities (e.g. approval processes, crisis management plans, social media policies).

Competencies of the role

·       Bachelor’s degree in communications or relevant field.

·       6+ years’ work experience in marketing and communications. 

·       Proven ability to create, manage and deliver strategic communications plans globally.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrable experience in media relations and stakeholder engagement.

·       Knowledge and track record of working in renewable energy and battery storage industry, project development, infrastructure and investments is favourable.

·       Exceptional organisational skills with ability to manage projects and budgets, often under time pressure, to meet multiple deadlines.

·       Strong team player who can build and maintain internal and external relationships at a senior level.

·       Excellent attention to detail.

·       Self-starter who can work independently in both strategy and execution, in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

This is an exciting senior role within our DBM Atlas team, focused on serving our insurance clients. You will be integral in driving the team forward, being focused on exceeding client expectations in all forms of delivery, identifying and implementing research and operational best practice and mentoring more junior members of the team. Insurance is a key growth category for RFI and you will be instrumental in ensuring the business capitalizes on the opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the relationship with various insurance clients and delivering outstanding customer service to those clients; including timely delivery of all reports, client queries and ad-hoc analysis requests ensuring they are provided to clients on time/in accordance with SLAs, to the expected standard and without error
• Maintaining deep understanding of the client’s strategic priorities, NPS performance and drivers
• Advancing the depth and actionability of insight provided to clients
• Producing periodic deep-dive reports and presentations for key clients end-to-end; including client briefing & consultation, solution scoping, analysis planning, data production, insight and report generation.
• Receiving briefings for ad hoc deliverables and communicating requirements and expectations to the Client Director/Senior Director
• Owning the execution of low-medium complexity adhoc analysis requests for insurance clients
• Providing support to Client Director on higher complexity adhoc analysis requests
• Supporting internal teams in the enhancement of production, QA processes and output including through automated production techniques
• Monitoring use of adhoc hours including determining hours required to complete tasks, communication and agreement of hours and adherence to agreed hours during production process
• Contributing to the identification of opportunities to improve the way clients are serviced and to enhance client value
• Liaising with clients on prioritization of tasks based on team capacity and workload
• Liaising with external providers associated with client deliverables
• Identifying and implementing innovative research approaches and methodologies
• Cascading subject matter expertise through the account team and broader business
• Leading training sessions and implementing ongoing internal training programs and knowledge sharing
• Assisting in putting together SOWs, sales pitches etc. in collaboration with Sales and Client Success teams
• Organising and conducting regular monthly client WIPs meetings and presentations

About the Role (your why)

As Manager – Risk & Resilience, you’ll be responsible for components of the risk program implementation and ongoing administration of Datacom’s Risk, Continuity, and Compliance practices, to our Federal Government customer base, aligned to ISO 31000 standards.

What you’ll do

As Manager – Risk & Resilience, you will cover:

•       Assisting the business to embed Risk Management into decision-making activities

•       Implementation and management of the risk management framework, including supporting the business with procedures for identifying, assessing, and managing risks

•       Embedding a risk aware culture and supporting collaboration to manage shared risks

•       Regularly reviewing the Risk Management approach

•       Driving accountability and ownership – by providing guidance to staff on their specific risk management responsibilities

•       Business Continuity Management oversight, including business impact assessment and business continuity planning and testing

•       Governance of the risk management framework and its implementation

•       Building an assurance plan to:

o   Implement appropriate controls and oversight of the business’ risk management activities

What you’ll bring

You’ll bring a wealth of Risk Management experience and an understanding of ISO 31000 standards and applicability, ideally within an IT managed services environment or with federal government customers. You will have experience administering risk management and advisory processes; along with developing, implementing, and administering Business Continuity Management processes.
