Procurement and Commercial Services Lead position is available to commence immediately!

Your new company An exciting full-time permanent Procurement and Commercial Services Lead position is available working for a well-known government employer.
Located in the picturesque Wellington Shire, this position will see you support the procurement compliance framework from annual procurement activity plans, compliance reporting, management systems, registers, policies, procedures and practices.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for the following;

Monitor and maintain a contract management system, register and compliance tools to ensure that contract managers over-see contractors and suppliers to deliver services in accordance with contractual, statutory and regulatory rules.
Develop strong partnerships with suppliers, procurement agents, government departments, peak bodies and with other industry organisations.
Provide support to financial delegates in the day-to-day operation of the procurement framework.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of Finance Officer Accounts Payable to conduct the accounts payable activities that are necessary to pay suppliers.
Other additional duties as directed by management


What you'll need to succeed

An appropriate tertiary qualification or experience in procurement and purchasing related roles
Demonstrated experience in supervision or team leadership is highly desirable
Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage and meet deadlines
Demonstrated experience in end-to-end procurement activities
Tender and contract documentation preparation skills
Analytical skills for use in tender evaluation, selection and contract management
Demonstrated experience in establishing and operating contracts and governance management systems
Ability to work under limited direction, including experience in planning, prioritising and organising work for self and others to achieve goals and deadlines

As the Technical Specialist (Structures), your core responsibility will be to manage Jetstar’s A320/1 Fleet Structures during C Checks, Operational AOG’s and Hangar visits, for scheduled work packs, ad-hoc work packs and defect rectification.

The primary function of the Technical Specialist role is to support the Duty Technical Manager in providing technical support to the AMO’s, monitoring and managing aircraft fleet health, providing a single point of contact to Maintenance Planning and Technical Service for ongoing campaigns & modifications and assisting in the recovery of disruptions during day of operations.

The Technical Specialist also works closely with our reliability team to identify and address recurring defects and to isolate rogue components which may be affecting fleet OTP in addition to working with Maintenance Planning and the MSC functions to ensure rectification activity is planned effectively across the line maintenance network.

Reporting to the Base & Intermediate Maintenance Manager, broader responsibilities for this role will include:

Act as AMO primary focal point for internal and external stakeholders on all items relating to Structures related activity

Take on ownership of complex technical requirements to ensure efficient return to service of aircraft
Assist structures technicians with damage mapping
Provide reporting and repair recommendations in conjunction with structures technicians

ABOUT THE JOB

Monitor the customer strategy working hand-in-hand with the commercial team and monitor the implementation of retail materials
Own the brand guidelines to guarantee the brand identity, ensuring that all actions are in line with the sense of purpose while nourishing the brand
Manage the collection and analysis of consumer market insights and competitors, sharing findings with Senior Management to ensure the consistency of new product development.
Drive brand growth through a solid consumer engaging media, PR and digital strategy and activations.

ABOUT YOU

You will be experienced in end-to-end marketing brand execution & trade marketing experience
You will have 5+ years experience in a similar role within the beauty industry and with an understanding of consumer products
You will have previous experience in forecasting and data analytics is essential
You will have previous experience in dealing with media agencies and briefings
You will be an excellent communicator to engage and deal with various internal and external stakeholders
You must be self-motivated & driven to be able to drive your own results and manage your time efficiently.

o Prepares detailed drawings and plans to support 3rd Party Engineering specifications.
o Liaising with 3rd Party Engineers, suppliers, customers to get required information when required
o Preparing sketches, charts, tabulations, plans and designs from engineered plans
o Performing and directing fieldwork interpreting work assignment instructions, applying appropriate procedures and selecting equipment
o Collecting and analysing data, and carrying out computations
o Estimating material costs and ensuring finished works are within specifications, regulations and contract provisions
o Inspecting engineering works, and organising and supervising maintenance and repair work
o Estimating / Detailing Truss & Frames jobs, timber Wall Panel, Floor Trusses & Cassettes
o Computer design work
