As a Senior Storage Engineer in the Cloud Infrastructure Storage team, you will be instrumental in ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of our global storage environment. What is this role about?

The Senior Analyst, Data Quality will be providing support to Data Stewards and Data Custodians in the Product Domains and Corporate Functions to comply with Cuscal’s Data Risk Management Policy and Data Quality Management Standard.

• Enable Data Stewards and Custodians to measure and report data quality health across prioritised systems / use cases.

• Contribute to the design of data quality issue logging, triaging and prioritisation process. 

Data Quality Assessment 

• Conduct data quality profiling to identify patterns and trends for data anomalies, errors or inconsistencies.

• Design data quality remediation plans considering outputs from cost-benefit analysis. 

• Develop SQL scripts for querying, data analysis and automating any data quality processes where feasible. 

Data Profiling and Cleansing 

• Assist Data Stewards and Custodians in profiling and cleansing prioritised data sets / CDEs to identify and rectify data errors, inconsistencies and duplications in accordance with the Data Quality Management Standard. 

Data Quality Health Monitoring 

• Prepare data quality metrics for review and approval by Data Owners, Stewards and Custodians. 

• Assist Data Steward / Custodian in raising data quality issue in Cuscal’s Governance Risk and Compliance (GR&C) tool and design remediation plan to track the issue to closure.

• A qualified financial accountant (CPA) with at least a bachelor's degree or above in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar is essential.

This person should be comfortable working independently as well as with a team in the design and development of mission-critical websites, applications, and layers of infrastructure. The back end developer will have an immediate effect on our business success as well as the success of our clients. Key Responsibilities

• System Architecture: Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure back-end architectures to support mobile applications and cloud-based platforms.

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, ensuring best practices in code quality, architecture, and development processes.

• Mobile  & Web Integration: Collaborate with web & mobile development teams to build APIs and services tailored for applications, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.

• Cloud Solutions: Leverage cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS and Azure) to build scalable and resilient infrastructure.

• DevOps: Setup and optimise CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and manage infrastructure.

• Technical Problem Solving: Identify and address technical challenges, from debugging complex issues to optimising system performance.

• Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions on time.

About you:

• You probably already know 5 or more languages and frameworks, and are learning something new as we speak.

• Whilst you may not be an expert in every language, framework or database, you have a substantial breadth of experience across many.

• You possess, not only a willingness, but an excitement at learning new technologies, languages, frameworks and databases. 

• You don't need to be handheld. You know how to learn and have a demonstrable ability to learn on the job. (This is most likely how you've previously learnt new things!)

• Consolidation of asset performance and macro inputs to drive insights into past and forward estimates of performance for Octopus’s funds.
• Performing scenario and sensitivity analysis at a portfolio level to assess impact of the various equity exposures in Octopus’s asset portfolio. Clear articulation of key messages and insights to internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide support in maintaining and operating the various asset, and fund level models that have been developed by the business to be used in the planning process ensuring reliability, accuracy, and suitability for use. This requires integrating oneself with all aspects of the business to understand the needs and challenges of the business and how the right tools can be used and further developed to support the business.
• Ensuring that the various financial models used in the business integrates with each other and will result in insights that support the business in making key decisions. 
• Onboarding new assets into the operating asset models from their relevant investment models’ post-acquisition.
• Refreshing models with updates to economic, pricing, cost, and generation level inputs, whilst ensuring rigor and best practice, along with (and championing the discipline of) proper version control in models used within the business.
• Assisting in liaising with model auditors, answering audit questions and making relevant changes to models.

• Manage, monitor and manipulate the server farm behind ServiceNow cloud
• Work directly on or with the servers to enable and optimize capacity utilization for the ServiceNow customer base

Purpose of your role

The Software Engineer role is responsible for delivering high quality code in a timely manner while working with the Tech Lead and Engineering Managers to design solutions as appropriate. What you do

About the Role

Working on a 9 month contract & you will work full time hours Monday to Friday, where you will primarily receive inbound sales & service enquiries, from both potential customers & existing members.

Reporting to the Service Team Manager, you will be part of the Parramatta Hybrid team, assisting with a range of enquiries relating to the Accor Plus Loyalty Program. Our enquiries include inbound sales calls regarding our Loyalty Program, concerns/complaints from existing members and additional requests about our Loyalty product. More specifically, you will:

• Receive inbound calls from customers, where you will practice amazing customer service
• Show strong resilience & problem solving, helping resolve complaints from our members
• Use multiple systems (in addition to the phones), replying to customers via our Email & Social Chat platforms 
• Come to the Parramatta office once a week to attend to manual paper based work (sending out new cards to customers etc)

About You

No previous call center experience required! Our ideal candidate needs to be a people person, who loves connecting with customers over the phone. To be successful in this role, you must:

• Work full time, Monday to Friday, between 8am & 4pm
• Be comfortable receiving calls & have the ability to provide amazing service, on each & every call
• Strong communication skills, both verbal & written, in order to respond to Email/chat box enquiries 
• Commute to the Parramatta office, at least once a week, to attend to on site paper work
• Comfortable working on a 9 month contract, with no guarantee of extension
