As a Legal Administrator, you will provide valuable support to Endeavour’s Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Company Secretariat teams, managing a variety of administrative tasks to ensure our operations run smoothly. 

You’ll play a key role in fostering positive, collaborative relationships with our legal and business partners, enabling proactive, pragmatic assistance that supports our mission of creating a more sociable future together.

• Monitoring and triaging Endeavour’s legal inbox
• Assisting with contract administration, including execution and storage
• Coordinating diaries and arranging meetings for the leadership team
• Booking travel for the leadership team 
• Taking meeting notes
• Managing legal matters in our system, Xakia, and overseeing invoice and purchase order administration in Coupa
• Supporting vendor onboarding and assisting with event management
• Contributing to team capacity by onboarding/offboarding team members
• Assisting with collation of documentation in response to subpoenas (with lawyer supervision)
• Working with the team to identify and implement process improvements, leveraging technology where possible.

The Senior Finance Manager - Commercial will partner with Commercial Heads of Brand (BWS and Dan Murphy’s) supporting Endeavour and Retail Brand strategies with revenue of +$10Bn.

With a strong commercial growth and transformational mindset you will drive business
performance and proactively provide commercial support through thought leadership and
actionable insights. The role has 3 direct reports (category finance business partners) and a total team size of 4 FTE’s,

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

Performance Reporting, Interpretation & Planning

• Proactively deliver insightful analysis and commercial recommendations to the business
• Ensure robust frameworks are in place for all Commercial reporting, ensuring messaging is actionable and insightful
• Monitoring performance against plan, establishing early warning signals to ensure that plans are met or that corrective actions are taken. Avoid surprises through proactive oversight and communication.
• Proactively manage, agree and communicate business Budget/Forecasts and any other strategic planning requirements
• Managing business initiatives against targets, supporting key stakeholders to optimise opportunities
• Provide strong cross functional leadership, ensuring Merch performance drivers are transparent and understood by FP&A, eCom, Marketing, Loyalty and Operations and that trading initiatives ultimately focus on holistic outcomes for Endeavour Retail.

Decision Support

• Support strategic recommendations in line with Strategy to the Merch Leadership team and Brand GM Finance/LT
• Partner with the Heads of Brand and Category to operationalise revenue and earnings growth through commercial decision making
• Play the role of ‘commercial advisor’ in all category activities, including supplier negotiations and discussions.
• Advise on performance and opportunities in relation to long-term business initiatives.Ensure long term financial targets have relevant and sound strategic thinking.
• Support promotions builds, ensuring optimised performance based on  category strategy and playing the required role to achieve targets

Team and Culture

• Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to direct reports and across the broader Endeavour finance and commercial teams
• Establishing and developing relations with senior management, external partners, finance and commercial stakeholders
• Work closely with finance peers across all brands and the group

THE OPPORTUNITY

We currently have opportunities for motivated and experienced Coxswains who hold a current AMSA issued Coxswain Grade 1 NC or higher. This position is primarily responsible for supporting the on-board vessel leadership team, preparing the vessel for transportation, safe securing and departure of vessels as well as the safety and comfort of all guests on board whilst delivering high quality services and experiences.

Your days might include:

• Provide high quality customer service and experiences to guests on-board;
• Perform constant deck rounds and control mooring lines;
• Assist guests with moving around vessel ensuring they are safe;
• Assist with food service including vessel snack bar, serving a range of food and beverages;
• Working with other crew and Master to make berthing as smooth as possible as per standard operating procedures;
• Perform tasks as per vessel safety management systems;
• Daily cleaning duties, including general vessel cleaning and housekeeping;
• In-water rescue and lookout duties for guests.

THE CANDIDATE

To be successful in this role you will know your stuff, be an all-rounder with deckhand and hospitality experience and particularly passionate about guests experiences. • Minimum 1 years experience in a Deckhand role with demonstrated deck experience;

• Maritime Radio Operator's Licence;
• QLD Responsible Service of Alcohol;
• QLD Blue Card (Working with Children's Check);
• HLTAID011 Provide First Aid and HLTAID015 CPR & Apply Oxygen;
• Police Clearance Certificate
