About the College

The School of Health and Biomedical Sciences comprises three Academic Clusters (Allied Health, Applied Health, and Biomedical Sciences).  Primarily based at the RMIT Bundoora campus, we undertake teaching and research across ten disciplines: Chinese Medicine, Chiropractic, Exercise Science, Human Biosciences, Laboratory Medicine, Medical Radiations, Nursing, Osteopathy, Pharmacy and Psychology.

About You

The Lecturer, Indigenous Health is expected to contribute to teaching and research efforts of the School in the Health discipline (eg nursing, pharmacy, physiotherapy or related areas).  More specifically, you will be responsible for carrying out teaching activities within undergraduate, Masters and Graduate Diploma programs and for maintaining and advancing your scholarly, research and/or professional capabilities. 

You will also be expected to actively promote the program by establishing and maintaining memberships, links and partnerships with academic, industry and professional communities within the Health sector. 

You will be expected to work collaboratively and collegially with fellow academics within the teaching team, and update colleagues and students on developments in their subject area or specialisation.  You will also be responsible for course coordination when required.

To be successful in this position, you will have the following:

• Must be of Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage.

• A demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the historical and contemporary issues affecting Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people

• Evidence of teaching and research expertise in the health field and course coordination as required.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish effective relationships with staff, students and industry. This includes experience in both student engagement and community engagement and working with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander staff and students.

• Demonstrated high level capability and commitment to continue to develop cultural competency.

• Ability to prepare and deliver programs at undergraduate and post-graduate levels, including online delivery, and the ability to produce high quality health related curriculum or program materials.

• The capacity to work effectively with and to negotiate sensitively with students especially on issues related to effective learning.

• Emerging track record and recognition for quality research outputs which will contribute to existing Discipline and School health based research areas evidenced by publications, development of new research initiatives, competitive research funding, and industry links.

• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills and a strong commitment to teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Mandatory:

• Qualification and/or experience in a Healthcare related field

• Evidence of a Post Graduate Qualification at Master level   

• PhD or evidence of extensive industry engagement in the Healthcare field (for level B appointment)

About the Role

The WIL Administrator position shares responsibility for supporting first class field education, Work Integrated Learning and mobility experiences for the School of Education students across all programs, modes and locations.  The incumbent will provide timely and accurate information, advice and service to both internal and external clients of the School of Education.

The incumbent will also provide general administrative support including course and program administration, promotional, and general administrative support for the activities undertaken by the Professional Experience Office.

To be successful in this position, you’ll have:

• Experience in working accurately with high volume detailed information and providing high-level administration in a WIL and/or mobility environment within a University or similar large and complex organisation.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to negotiate successful outcomes with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm, energy and self-motivation, with a commitment to quality service delivery and a strong ability to problem solve.

What you will do

The Ad Technology Specialist role requires a deeper technical understanding and will work closely with the AdOps team, sales and customers in a supportive capacity to enable us to deliver exceptional outcomes.

• Working closely with the Media squad, alongside product team to ensure that new products are executed in line with business objectives.
• Play a strategic role by developing the team processes inclusive of the management processes for ad-related issues.
• Communicate effectively with a large stakeholder group ranging from commercial leaders to product managers to software developers.
• Build native and html5 templates from scratch and follow specifications provided.
• Troubleshoot GAM tag integration on site and in APP
• Plan, manage, and monitor the technical implementation of display and video advertising units across various platforms. (Desktop, mobile & apps).
• Be the subject matter expert between sales, dev, finance, and IT departments regarding all ad-tech projects.
• Work closely with ad-ops team in developing campaign workflows including ad campaign set ups, optimisations, and troubleshooting.
