As the Talent Acquisition &Â Capability Advisor, with a specialised focus on technology recruitment, you will be a key player in our collaborative People Team, driving the acquisition of top tech talent while empowering hiring managers and team members to build high-performing, future-ready teams.
Your role will go beyond just traditional recruitment: you’ll act as a strategic advisor, helping hiring managers refine their recruitment capabilities, develop stronger teams, and build the technological expertise needed to thrive in today’s competitive landscape.
In addition to recruitment, a core focus of your role will be enabling hiring managers to continuously evolve their team's progression and succession strategy through our customised capability frameworks. You will foster a mindset of growth, encouraging the development of their own leadership skills in managing diverse teams and ensuring that the talent pipeline aligns with long-term organisational goals.
By bringing your expertise in talent acquisition, relationship-building, and capability development, you will help both individual managers and the People Team thrive—delivering not just exceptional recruitment outcomes but also a measurable improvement in team performance and skills across the organisation.

This role is based in Brisbane and is an 18month maternity leave contract.
Your day-to-day...
- With support from the wider Talent team, steer and manage the recruitment lifecycle for a variety of roles across the business with a focus in Technology roles.
- Work with business units to understand talent acquisition requirements, future workforce plans and setting expectations and managing the processes.
- Support hiring managers to make sound hiring decisions, including candidate screening, interviewing, and recruitment administration.
- Support the Senior Capability Partner with high-value enablement work on customised capability frameworks for the technology teams.
- Support the delivery of a market-leading candidate experience that is aligned to our employer brand.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with the leaders and managers you support, acting as a trusted advisor and objective sounding board for people-related talent initiatives.
- As appropriate, work with agency partners to strategically source applicable talent
What you’ll bring...
- Demonstrated experience as a trusted advisor and specialist in a corporate Talent Acquisition function.
- Experience in the complete end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, including role definition, employer and role branding, as well as talent pooling.
- Previous experience working in Technical (IT) roles or for a Technology-led organisation is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience and strong familiarity with recruitment systems and platforms (ie: Workable, LinkedIn Recruiter, HRIS).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with high-level attention to detail.
- Exceptional time management capability, working with a range of stakeholders and changing priorities.
- A drive to build on current recruitment and business partnering skillset and lean into enablement work of Talent Management.
