JOB DESCRIPTION

About the Accounts Officer Role:

As the Aviation Accounts Officer, you will be responsible for capturing, preparing and reconciling flight information for the purpose of financial accruals and reporting. The role also incorporates the processing of invoices and credit claims for both internal and external suppliers and customers. Other responsibilities include the maintenance of charter flight costings and working with other departments to minimise revenue leakage and to maximise profitability for the business.

What you’ll do (duties/responsibilities including/not limited to):

• Accounts Payable duties will make up about two thirds of your duties (circa 150 invoices a month)
• Preparing reports on flight data, debtors balances, fuel pricing, fuel surcharges, aircraft capacity utilization, and freight volumes etc.
• Analysis of reports
• Accounts Receivable
• Reconciliations
• Assis the Commercial Manager to achieve accurate and timely completion of month end financial results

What you’ll bring to the role:

• At least 1+ years experience working in a similar role (AP, AR, Invoicing etc.)
• Attention to detail is imperative, as dealing with often complicated multi-million-dollar invoices
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Great communication skills, both written and verbal
• Oracle EBS software experience (desirable/not essential)

SGS is seeking a Client Services Officer to join the team located near Perth Airport.

The responsibilities though not limited to, will include:

• Respond to and maintain records of client inquirers regarding the laboratory's capabilities, service offers and the progress of analytical work
• Generate and finalise invoices, issue reports as necessary to meet client requests
• Ensure analytical data quality checks are approved by NATA signatories, monitor and taking action on reporting controls
• Collaborating with the Laboratory Manager, check invoices against service offers, contracts, client requests and services delivered to ensure work is fully costed in line with current charges and business policies
• Assist with payment record management, COD invoices and client contacts when required

• Meeting and greeting Patients and Consultants
• Supporting the day-to-day delivery of appointments
• Responding to and actioning the day-to-day general administrative, scheduling, and booking queries via phone, inbox and online booking system

What you will be doing:

• Responsible to manage and maintain receiving dock while on duty
• To be responsible for the accurate, and efficient management of a range of Accounts tasks including Creditors and Banking for the Pullman & ibis Adelaide, in conjunction with Finance team

• Participate in inventory stocktakes in the stores  and outlets at month end or when required by management

• Responsible for the replacement of inventory including price comparisons, delivery time and follow up
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers
• Liaise with appropriate companies with regards to recycling ensuring efficient running
• Ensure the quoted prices and supplier codes are kept up to date in the computer system
