We are currently looking for Full time Forklift Operator to help us grow Marley Spoon, at our new state of the art fulfilment centre located in Wetherill Park, NSW.

Your role

Our Full-time Forklift Operator/Inbound Associate will perform activities as directed in the warehouse and is responsible for following all safety, GMP, and Marley Spoon policies and procedures.

The role entails:

• Operating forklifts
• Manual handling
• General housekeeping duties
• Stocktake
• Assisting with the receiving process of all fresh stocks
• Checking PO vs. Received using RF scanners
• Separating stock for different production lines

Responsibilities:

• Unloading materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stacking them to assigned places
• Locating and moving stock to pallets or crates for storage
• Identifying damages and reporting shortages or quality deficiencies
• Transporting raw materials to production staging
• Inspecting machinery to determine the need for repairs and guaranteeing safety by performing regular start-up checks
• Keeping updated records of inventory and activity logs
• Complying with company policies and legal guidelines
• Helping maintain a safe and orderly environment in the facilities
• Using RF scanners to receive POs and manage stock
• Communicating effectively with team members and other departments

• Ability to start at 4:00 AM every day (vehicle required)
• Punctual and reliable
• High attention to detail
• Proven experience as a forklift operator
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Full working rights within Australia

• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling duties

This position is responsible for providing quality and professional administrative support for the Talent & Culture Manager (or designate) whilst assisting in the support/implementation of the Hotels’ Talent and Culture (T&C) policies and procedures.

• Open and sort all incoming correspondence for attention of the Talent and Culture Manager, source information as necessary to enable a prompt and accurate response.
• Coordinate the activities of the Talent and Culture Manager through efficient diary management.
• Maintain a logical and up-to-date filing system.
• Conduct process of recruiting and screening systems and procedures in order to attract most qualified candidates for position vacancies.
