Brief overview of the role

Euromonitor International is seeking an energetic and highly organized Admin & HR Officer to join our team on a part-time basis. You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day administrative and HR operations of our company. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about both administration and human resources.

Work schedule: Part-time role, 3 days per week (Tues, Wed & Thurs)

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Duties

• Manage and maintain office supplies and inventory, ensuring all necessary items are replenished in a timely manner.
• Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for company executives.
• Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, emails, and phone calls.
• Prepare and distribute documents, memos, and reports as required.
• Support the onboarding process for new employees, including paperwork, orientation, and training coordination.
• Assist with event planning and coordination, including booking venues, arranging catering, and managing RSVPs.
• Manage office facilities and equipment, ensuring they are properly maintained and serviced.

HR Support

• Assist with the recruitment process by screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
• Support the performance management process by maintaining records, assisting in the preparation of performance appraisal documents, and tracking employee progress.
• Manage employee records and databases, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.
• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Maintain and enforce HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Provide general HR support and assistance to employees, answering their queries and guiding them on HR-related matters.

• Previous experience in a similar administrative or HR role is preferred

About the role:

The Associate Service Technician 24/7 position is a vital role that significantly contributes to the continuity and efficiency of our DC Operations teams. Your role will be instrumental in navigating our mission towards doubling pets' lifespans through innovative nutritional solutions and sustainable practices. 

What you will do: 

Research strategy

Aid in developing our research strategy and pipeline to meet business goals, centring on our key thematic priorities: 

1. Safety & benefits demonstration: Demonstrating the safety and efficacy of our products  
2. Improving the general health and happiness of puppers 
3. Improving our products to deliver greater benefits to pets 
4. Developing new products and/or services based on research breakthroughs 

• Create research proposals: Craft proposals grounded in solid statistical and scientific principles in line with our business goals. This includes cost modelling and spearheading the studies' execution, while seamlessly collaborating with external stakeholders such as universities, industrial partners, and customers. 
• Manage active studies: Supervise active research projects, ensuring they progress effectively and align with our investigative objectives. 
• Analytical excellence: Engage in the analysis and synthesis of research results, transforming raw data into actionable insights and coherent findings. 
• Scholarly support: Assist in drafting papers that elucidate research outcomes and white papers that reinforce our perspectives and beliefs.

The Role

The Missing Link Security Operations Centre provides 24x7 Managed Detection & Response (MDR) support to our clients across a variety of sectors. We are a leading waste management facility based in Wetherill Park, NSW, currently seeking experienced and reliable Heavy Rigid (HR) Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials to various local destinations, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with all road safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a heavy rigid vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload goods and materials, ensuring secure and proper handling.
• Plan routes to meet delivery schedules and minimise delays.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and fuel consumption.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
• Comply with all road safety rules and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service, including addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
• Report any vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.

Qualifications:

• Valid Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's license.
• Proven experience as an HR driver.
• Good driving record with no traffic violations.
• Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and handle physical workload.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

About the role:

The role of Finance Associate will sit in the finance team and support across the Octopus Australia business giving the successful candidate wide exposure to various renewable asset investments, funds, and Octopus Australia as a fund manager. The role is based in our Sydney, with occasional travel required between offices.

The successful candidate will be involved in the successful delivery of all financial aspects of the Octopus Australia Group. This role will report into the Financial Controller. 

Core responsibilities will include:

• Involvement in regular management and KPI variance reporting
• Involvement in quarterly and annual financial reporting (with the support of advisors)
• Cashflow forecasting and calculating funding requirements.
• Forecasting and budgeting at both asset and company level
• Management of external bookkeepers and advisors, to ensure statutory filings are met (including audited financials, tax returns, activity statements, FBT)
• Managing bank accounts and payments processes
• Financial compliance (AFSL)
