Account Manager - Havas Melbourne

As our Account Manager, you will work closely with Senior Account Director (SAD) and Head of Client Experience to lead the day-to-day operations for several clients. You’ll get to work on exciting new clients and will oversee planning across online and offline channels.
The Account Manager is responsible for planning across all channels and working closely with the specialist teams. You will be expected to buy media direct with digital publishers particularly where more integrated partnerships are concerned. Strong client service skills are a must and a keen passion to get involved with the team and culture is high on the priority list.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day operations for several clients, working closely with the SAD and Head of Client Experience.
Develop comprehensive and timely responses to client briefs.
Collaborate with clients' creative partners to ensure the development of high-quality ideas.
Oversee the media implementation process across all interactive channels.
Plan across channels and work closely with specialist product teams to provide a seamless experience for clients.
Purchase media direct with digital publishers, particularly for integrated partnerships.
Utilize experience with both offline and digital media channels to bridge the gap between the two.
Support the overall communications strategy, planning, and implementation process for clients.
Provide expertise and mastery of industry and Havas proprietary tools.
Provide day-to-day leadership and full campaign management, alongside the Account Executive.
Support new business pitches when required.
Take on additional projects and champion tools, systems, and processes as identified by your manager.
Adapt and contribute as needed in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Desired Skills/Attributes/Experience:
Proven experience in account management and media planning within the media industry.
Exceptional client management skills.
Thorough understanding of clients' business challenges and solutions within the marketing mix.
Sound knowledge of market conditions, including the digital landscape and associated platforms.
Ability to work harmoniously with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
