The support you will provide to someone with complex support needs varies for each person. Support needs and goals are directed by the person or their informal supports. Implement safe and effective infection control, identify risk and work within the parameters of your role.??They may include and not limited to

• Support with social and community connections
• Requirements for complex support such as managing crisis and assisting clients to access their professional networks.

Hours/Days of Work:

Skills Required:?Experience in Mental Health, specifically in community services?
• Are you passionate about mental health support and have a solid understanding of the challenges for people living with a psychosocial disability?
• Do you have experience and passion in the delivery of recovery oriented practices with a community and non-clinical approach?
• Are you confident in identifying risk, and reporting to our support office team
• Are you trauma informed and have a good understanding of the impacts on a person living with complex trauma?
• Do you have skills supporting individuals that may experience suicide ideation or reach crisis?
• Do you have a good understanding of psychosocial disability under the NDIS
• High communication skills, with an ability to adapt communication styles to suit individuals
• Thrive in at times challenging environments and can confidently work independently?
• High active listening and negotiation skills to resolve any issues and provide a positive support experience.
• Strong understanding of self care and professional boundaries.

The Associate Nurse Manager- Clinical Lead works closely with the Adult Nurse Manager, providing clinical leadership to ensure the provision of safe and effective care and efficient management of the Adult Emergency Department. The role will assist and support staff to manage patient flow within the Emergency Department to optimise timeliness of care, the National Emergency Access Target (NEAT) and achievement of organisational targets. The Associate Nurse Manager- Clinical Lead is responsible for supporting the management of specific portfolios including but not limited to;

Clinical support and education
Roster and leave management
Support services Co-ordination
Staff performance review and development (Grade 2 Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses)
Quality and safety
Emergency management and occupational health and safety
Daily operational performance / support
This role will work clinical shifts within the Emergency Department as required.

This is a Monday – Friday role.

About Us

The Clayton Adult Emergency Department provides tertiary emergency services for adult patients across Southeast Melbourne and surrounding regional areas. The Department is responsible for over 60,000 emergency department presentations annually. Once fully commissioned, the adult emergency department will have 75 treatment spaces, including six resuscitation cubicles, eight isolation rooms and a 20-bed adult short stay unit.

There is also a purpose-built Mental Health and Other Drugs (MHAOD) hub, which includes six dedicated cubicles, interview, and sensory rooms to provide an optimal environment to assess and manage patients presenting with behavioural health needs. The Adult Emergency department sees presentations requiring tertiary level care for Neurosurgery and Stroke services and also includes a diverse range of specialist support services onsite.

About You

You are dedicated, driven and a leader in Adult Emergency Nursing.

To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:

Demonstrated leadership and senior nursing experience within and Emergency Department. Associate Nurse Manager experience required.
Post graduate Qualification in Emergency Nursing or Leadership and Management (or working towards) is desirable
AHPRA Registration to practice Independently as a Registered Nurse

The Stepping Stones Adolescent Inpatient Unit is a 15 inpatient beds and 5 transition (day) beds Ward. It is a state of the art, purpose-built facility housed in the new Monash Children’s Hospital. About The Role

This is an exciting and rare opportunity for a qualified and experienced Nurse, Division 1 to work within the Early in Life Mental Health Service inpatient unit.

We currently have part and full time ongoing roles working across a 24/7 rotating roster.

About You

You are an experienced Mental Health Clinician with previous experience within a youth / adolescent mental health setting. You also have previous experience within adolescent mental health nursing, and familiarity with milieu therapy. You also have excellent communication skills and are able to work well with young people, related services and their families within the multidisciplinary team setting. You will also work collaboratively with the various components of the ELMHS service, and provide leadership to the unit on a shift by shift basis, and add to the leadership group of Stepping Stones. The role provides the enviable opportunity to develop your capabilities of working within a diverse Early in Life Mental Health Setting; and extending your knowledge and skills at liaising with external agencies.

We are seeking a Nurse Manager (NM) (Grade 5) to work in collaboration with the Consultant Psychiatrists to lead a dynamic, positive and cohesive team. About You

You are dedicated to promoting their Health and Well-being through evidence-based individual and family interventions. Frankston Emergency has recently been awarded ACEMs highest level of accreditation at 24 months, with the network offering access to secondment rotations (including Medicine, ICU and Anaesthetics, Paediatrics, as well as Special skills rotations in Ultrasound and Education).

Peninsula Health has established teaching programs for ACEMs Primary and Fellowship exams, a Simulation medicine teaching program (monthly sessions in conjunction with Anaesthetics, Paediatrics and Intensive Care in the dedicated on site simulation lab), as well as offering supervision for the ACEM Emergency Medicine Certificate and Diplomas. Registrars have ample opportunities for involvement with non clinical activities including clinical audits, Research and Quality Improvement activities.
