Frankston Emergency has recently been awarded ACEMs highest level of accreditation at 24 months, with the network offering access to secondment rotations (including Medicine, ICU and Anaesthetics, Paediatrics, as well as Special skills rotations in Ultrasound and Education).

Peninsula Health has established teaching programs for ACEMs Primary and Fellowship exams, a Simulation medicine teaching program (monthly sessions in conjunction with Anaesthetics, Paediatrics and Intensive Care in the dedicated on site simulation lab), as well as offering supervision for the ACEM Emergency Medicine Certificate and Diplomas. Registrars have ample opportunities for involvement with non clinical activities including clinical audits, Research and Quality Improvement activities.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Grade 2 Hand Therapist for a full time permanent ongoing role. The team comprises occupational therapists, physiotherapists and an allied health assistant and is primarily based at Dandenong Hospital with adjunct satellite clinics at Clayton and Casey. The hand therapy team is located within the out-patients department with busy clinics running daily and providing an excellent environment for team learning and a multidisciplinary approach. There is a focus on those with traumatic injuries who have received plastic and orthopaedic surgery and there will be a variety of other clinical presentations. The Hand Therapy Team has a close relationship with the Plastics and Orthopaedics surgical teams and prides itself on delivering best care to maximise a patient’s return to function. Our commitment to service improvement also provides opportunities for involvement in research and implementation of evidence-based practice. These roles will have responsibilities across the full range of our hand therapy service, both in the acute trauma caseload and in the Adaptive Hand Therapy Clinic.

An exciting project initiated by the Department of Health being undertaken by Monash Health, the Adaptive Hand Therapy Clinic will provide evidence-based and effective intervention for patients with specified hand conditions that respond well to non-surgical treatment, thereby enabling increased numbers of people to be removed from surgical waiting lists. Clinical teaching is a core activity, involving staff supervision and active support of student placements. You will be involved in service development, working parties and clinical groups as needed, working with the Hand Therapy team and out-patient department to provide an excellent service and implementing service changes as required.

About Us

The Monash at Home – Aged and Rehabilitation Care service, previously GEM at Home, launched in December 2020 and is a fundamental part of the broader Aged and Rehabilitation Division, providing safe and high-quality home-based subacute level care for individuals with complex medical, functional, and often cognitive issues, who require comprehensive, medically led multidisciplinary assessment and optimisation.

The service is seen as an alternative to hospital-based subacute care, designed to facilitate an earlier discharge from acute care and/or to avoid a subacute hospital stay entirely. Patients within the service receive at least daily visits from a member of the multidisciplinary team and access to 24-hour telephone support.?The model of care aims to provide short term, high quality, safe and effective patient centred care to individuals within the primary Monash Health catchment. The Program is entering an exciting phase of growth which will include, but not limited to, increasing the service clinical capacity and extending the geographical catchment.

Central Veterinary Services is a true mixed practice, servicing all species with a busy medical and surgical caseload comprising 60% small animal and 40% large animal. Farm work is mainly dairy and beef cattle based, we have a growing number of equine clients, and also regularly treat sheep, goats and alpacas. Applicants will ideally have, or be interested in attaining, PregCheck and BullCheck VBBSE Accreditation with the Australian Cattle Vets.

Australian Livestock Production Services provides nutrition and herd health services to beef feedlots, lamb feedlots, dairies, beef/sheep grazing enterprises, and feed mills throughout Australia, with some overseas work. ALPS also runs applied research programmes. There is further cross-over between CVS and ALPS in the field of reproduction, with FTAI and general reproduction services being offered across a large region with considerable scope to expand these services.

What is on offer?
The position will be overseen by Professor Paul Cusack who will move into a more collaborative role as the candidate establishes their skills and client relationships. If the candidate does not have post-graduate training/qualifications in nutrition they will be assisted with course fees and paid time to attend residential schools to pursue this. Assistance will also be provided with any courses that add value to the services the clinic and the consultancy businesses provide. New graduates are welcome to apply on the basis that they will be trained in both clinical and consultancy work.

The base salary for new graduates is $90 000 p.a. plus vehicle allowance, clinic after hours payments, and superannuation. A higher base salary will be negotiated with appropriate candidates considering experience and expertise. Full time veterinarians work a 9-day fortnight. There are highly experienced vets and nursing staff available for support on call and for help with regular work. Leeton MGP comprises a small group of midwives dedicated to supporting women with low-risk pregnancies. As a continuity of care model, the MGP midwives provide specialist and personalised perinatal care. Women with a complicated medical history and pregnancy are referred to Griffith Base Hospital or Wagga Hospital as a collaborative approach in providing shared specialist perinatal care.

As a group practice midwife, you will work in partnership with women in providing woman-centred care, support and advice during pregnancy, labour, birth, and the postnatal period. Early discharge home following birth is encouraged where postnatal care will be provided during home visits. Home visits are offered to all women booked at Leeton regardless of the birthing hospital.

Working across a seven day roster, the midwives work autonomously and collaboratively as a team. A typical day in the role of a Leeton MGP midwife encompasses on-call, ANC, home visits and the coordination of complex care presentations in addition to birthing care

About the Role

We are looking for fun, outgoing, and dedicated individuals to join our team of customer service consultants. Located at our Melbourne Airport Contact Centre, where every interaction is an opportunity to connect with our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for handling inbound customer interactions via phone, email, and chat.

We are currently seeking to fill multiple positions on both a full-time and part-time basis. While this ad primarily targets part-time positions, we encourage applicants interested in full-time roles to apply as well.

Training will be provided to ensure your success and confidence in the role.
