To do this successfully you will:

• Assess and settle health insurance claims arising from policies in force
• Make recommendations on policies and guidelines to group health insurance claims
• Liaise with members and other third parties during investigation and negotiation to seek guidance on the course of action that serves the best interest of AIA
• Process all health insurance claims documents timely
• Answer inquires relating to claims processing

Successful applications will demonstrate:

• Experience in Health Claims - ideally Medical or Hospital
• HAMBS and/or e5 preferred.
• Strong MS Suite skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook

We are growing and are seeking to fill 2 roles as a Triage Injury Management Consultant to work on a full time or casual basis and be available from Monday to Friday during business hours. This role is to connect with injured employees and their managers to support them through their workplace injury by offering injury triage, first aid advice, support and linking them into support services and resources available to them. You will be working in a Triage Team which is dedicated to providing personalised health management support and advice to employees who have sustained injuries at work. This is done by using your clinical experience in a corporate work environment. The work is undertaken telephonically meaning that it can be undertaken from home or office. 

Tasks include but not limited to:

• Support and care for clients with empathy and expertise to improve their personal health and wellbeing goals.
• Undertake coordination of supports and wellbeing services for a highly engaged and motivated client population.
• Provide initial early intervention Triage with clients, supporting both physical and mental health services.
• Undertaking of relevant case coordination activity including liaison with all stakeholders; provision of email updates; and creation of appropriate documentation such as a treatment plans or other documentation as required.

In a OHSEQ Specialist role:

• Assist with the development of an effective and efficient projects safety management system and programs.
• Assist with the development of management plans and associated documentation.
• Assist with the provision of effective and high quality OHSEQ service to clients.
• Assist with the preparation and submission of weekly and monthly reports including recommendations on OHSEQ management and statistics.
• Assists with specialised OHSEQ Management System development including standards, policies and procedures and supporting systems, ensuring that all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements and standards are met.
• Provide expert advice to clientele, internal and external stakeholders with respect to the policies, management guidelines and procedures as applicable to OHSEQ.
• Evaluate contractor OHSEQ documentation to ensure compliance to clients and regulatory requirements.

Due to further expansion of our service, we have a Full Time or Part time opportunity based at Richmond, Eastern (Box Hill) or Geelong (Waurn Ponds) you will be predominately responsible for accurately coding medical records in accordance with the Australian Coding Standards. Using 3M Codefinder, you will be exposed to a diverse Casemix including Cardiothoracic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Interventional Cardiology, Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Oncology, Obstetrics and Rehabilitation. 

You will make an impact by:

• Accurately coding episodes using ICD-10-AM, ACHI and the Australian Coding Standards as well relevant state, national and internal advice
• Ensuring all records are coded within specified timeframes
• Maintaining compliance with reporting requirements
• Ensuring the high quality of our coding by participating in our internal audit program
• Actively participate in training, quality and education activities

You will have:

• Proven high quality coding skills
• An excellent knowledge of the Australian Coding Standards
• Relevant qualifications in Health Information Management or Clinical Coding
• Previous coding experience in the public or private sector
• Experience with private sector funding models would be advantageous

AECOM has an exciting opportunity for an engaging and highly motivated Safety, Health, Environment & Wellbeing (SHE&W) Business Partner to join our Melbourne based team. This is a hands-on role, which will see you participating in office and field-based work on some of Australia’s largest and most complex and iconic infrastructure projects within the Victoria & South Australia region.

What will a day in this role look like:

• Play a key role in the development and implementation of health and safety programs and initiatives, supporting SHE&W strategies throughout the region in Victoria & South Australia.
• Lead the SHE&W function across the Victorian and South Australian region, supporting operational leadership and the Australia and New Zealand SHE&W Director to pragmatically manage SHE&W risks, drive continuous improvement whilst ensuring a strong culture of SHE&W excellence is upheld.
• As an active member of our SHE&W team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of health and safety programs and initiatives, whilst supporting projects across the region.
• You will also have a close working relationship with our Victorian and South Australian leadership teams and the broader SHE&W team across Australia and New Zealand.
