ABOUT THE ROLE

What your day will look like:

Team Leadership and Development

• Set targets for and supervise all accounting and finance personnel as your team grows.

• Train and coach teams to ensure they have the knowledge and resources necessary to be successful.

Financial Systems

• Support Netsuite rollout activities to portfolio companies by ensuring data integrity.
• Conduct situational assessments, identify gaps and opportunities for automation, make recommendations, and direct the implementation of such changes as required to improve financial systems and related processes.

Integration Support

• Develop, identify, and execute financial integration and onboarding plans for new acquisitions in partnership with the business transformation team.
• Integration activities include ERP system implementation, account mapping, rollout of Valsoft reporting requirements, and governance standards.
• Establish and monitor monthly reporting cadence. Review all deliverables for data integrity, quality, and accuracy.
• Identify discrepancies between acquired company accounting policies and Valsoft corporate policies. Remediate discrepancies by revaluing accounts and engineering and implementing go-forward reporting processes.
• Prepare purchase price allocations and ensure the completeness and accuracy of opening balance sheet accounting prepared in accordance with Valsoft accounting policies.
• Calculate and monitor deferred acquisition payment liabilities.
• Create the first bottoms-up forecast in partnership with the acquired business.
• Roll out and apply Valsoft KPI management framework.

• A qualified financial accountant (CPA) with at least a bachelor's degree or above in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar is essential.
• 5–8 years of experience in a similar role, including at least 2+ years in team management.
• Ability to manage risks by ensuring that effective and efficient internal controls are in place without compromising operational efficiency and flexibility.
• Extensive knowledge and skill in multiple disciplines to be able to support business integration activities effectively and a capacity to understand and interpret conflicting goals and needs of diverse groups.
• Fast learner and adaptable – excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Working knowledge of Oracle NetSuite ERP (or similar) is considered an asset.

The SAP Fioneer Banking Functional Consultant will play a leading role in the SAP functional team within the Banking Business Unit. About the role:

We are looking for a hands-on and proactive Senior Financial Accountant who will ensure compliance with accounting standards, timely month-end closing, drive our technical accounting expertise, and support the financial health of Ofload through accurate and timely reporting.

This role oversees revenue and COGS recognition, manage and complete the monthly close process, and reconcile the consolidated balance sheet while collaborating cross-functionally to enhance processes.

What you’ll do:

• Compliance and Technical Expertise:
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Assist in drafting technical accounting papers and policies to support complex accounting positions.
• Month-End Close:
• Perform and oversee the monthly close process through the preparation of journal entries and detailed reconciliations.
• Oversee the month-end recognition process for revenue and COGS, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial standards.
• Balance Sheet Management:
• Manage and reconcile the consolidated balance sheet, maintaining accuracy and consistency across all accounts and ensuring it reflects the true financial position of the company.
• Audit and Tax Coordination:
• Act as a key liaison with external auditors and tax accountants to ensure timely and efficient compliance with statutory obligations.
• Process Improvement and Collaboration:
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial processes with broader organizational goals.

Qualifications and Experience:

• CA/CPA fully qualified.
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
• Strong experience in technical accounting treatments, including AASB16, revenue recognition, goodwill & impairment, and share-based payments.

As a Portfolio Financial Controller, you will play a key role in overseeing the financial health of our diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to support decision-making.

About the team

The Professional Services Team ANZ provides support, guidance and consultancy services to our customers throughout their engagement and customer life cycle with GBG. We provide technical and functional support, consultancy and advisory services for several products and services, including identity verification, location intelligence, fraud management and project management. We work directly with our customers to ensure their requirements are met and that they can consume the GBG product(s) they've purchased within the shortest possible timeframe.

The role

Reporting to the Client Integration Manager, the role of the Integration Consultant is to support the integration, onboarding and provisioning of GBG's Identity and Compliance solutions for both new and existing customers, including data reporting and consulting services. This is a challenging and varied role, so it means the need to liaise directly with customers to clarify requirements as part of our services.

What you will do

• Configuration, implementation, and support of GBG identity customers for activities such as on-boarding and platform configuration changes for our identity product which includes identity verification and biometric solutions. Customers are for all channels which includes partners and re-sellers.
• Collaborate with presales, sales and technology teams whereas is necessary to support existing and new customers.
• Educate customers about our product and assist customer to understand how to use our products to cover their business needs, becoming a trusted advisor. At the same time, anticipate and communicate project risks (if any).
• Work with prospects and clients to help define the customer onboarding journey with minimum friction. This needs to be aligned with the configuration that are available on the platform.
• Assist customers with detailed questions about our product architecture, configuration, APIs, and data reporting.
• Run as a single point of contact for key allocated projects and manage the end-to-end implementation and consultancy of our biometric and hosted greenID Solutions.
• Develop quality work and customer documentation.
• Adopt and enforce delivery governance practices by maintaining accurate and timely project reporting and participating in periodic project reviews & audits.

What are we looking for

• Excellent client interaction skills, collaborative work style, and strong interpersonal and team skills.
• Ability to select and use appropriate tools for the job and perform technical research as required to supplement and support Professional Services framework in delivering working product to clients.
• Ability to design and develop technical or customer reference documentation for project work plans, guidelines, standards, procedures, and processes that meet the needs of the target audience.
• Ability to identify key issues, analyse data, and make recommendations to address problems.
• A confident worker, comfortable with working alone but also a good team player dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
• Willing to be adaptable to changing priorities, and to accommodate the need for urgency.
• Knowledge in facial biometrics technology would be a definite advantage.
• Knowledge of SOAP web services, RESTful API's, HTML/JavaScript/CSS.
• Exposure with Splunk and SOAPUI/POSTMAN
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn the industry and technology used within identity products.
• Ability to sit comfortable with customers (different levels – from technical to senior stakeholders) to explain our product, conduct workshops and product training.
• Analytical competency advantageous and the path to growth more in the role
• Ideally will have banking/financial institution experience.
