Our highly valued Research & Insights Analysts are key members within a group of media research specialists who provide insights and data analytics support across the business.

As a key member of the team, you will support a wide range of internal departments across the business including National Sales, Powered, Programming, Program EP’s, Marketing including Trade Marketing, Publicity team. 

Reporting to the Head of Research - Total TV you will be responsible for:

• Responding effectively and in a timely manner to research requests from the sales team
• Producing and maintaining audience reports and dashboards
• Working with the team to proactively develop new sales research presentations and collateral
• Analysing Cross Platform, TV and BVOD ratings and interpreting audience behaviour
• Providing support for bespoke surveys run by the research team
• Using research tools such as L & J Fusion, Arianna, TVMAP, Clear Decisions, Asteroid, iPORT as well as Nine proprietary tools to provide information to sales and other key stakeholders

What does the role look like? 

• Work closely with NDA dev teams to translate technical specifications and requirements into demands, products, governance, frameworks, sprints and broader deliverables to rollout in partnership with non-technical audiences.
• Evaluates and prioritises analytics products based on business needs and potential impact, collaborating with stakeholders to define project scopes
• Supports the rollout and adoption of data analytics products and projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation
• Oversees the management and optimisation of NDA portfolio, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and priorities

We are looking for an Analyst to join our Pin Payments team in Melbourne. You will be responsible for managing underwriting our customer applications with a focus on analysis relevant to their Business Model, Credit Exposure and enhanced Financial Analysis.

This role is hands-on and highly cross-functional, requiring close collaboration with our key internal players (Business Development, Sales, Risk, Legal teams and Senior Management), and our high value merchants and partners.

• Evaluate business models and financial statements of prospective customers to determine our appetite to support their business

• Provide tailored credit risk recommendations that help manage our risk exposure while opening opportunities for growth

• Help manage our portfolio through developing and documenting an understanding of risk across industries and business models

• Ongoing development and refinement of our underwriting processes for assessing and onboarding customers

Responsibilities:

• Maintains the Physical Office Environment: Performs minor repairs (electrical, plumbing, painting), monitors HVAC systems, manages office supplies inventory, and coordinates office moves.
• Space Management and Planning: Oversees space allocation, re-organizes office layouts, and plans for future space needs.
• Vendor Management: Negotiates with vendors for services and equipment, manages vendor relationships, and ensures timely payments.
• Event Support: Sets up conference rooms, plans and schedules on-site meetings, and assists with events.
• Logistics and Shipping: Manages office supplies, ensures printer/copier functionality, and serves as a point person for mailing and shipping.
• Safety and Security: Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations, maintains emergency response plans, and coordinates with building management on security matters.
• Onboarding and Training: Orients new staff members on office procedures.
• Security Management: Supports company security measures by issuing badges and enforcing security policies.
• Technical Troubleshooting Skills: The candidate must possess technical problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve a variety of hardware and software issues across different operating systems (Mac, Windows, Linux). They should be proficient in intermediate software troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent Customer Service and Communication: The ability to provide exceptional customer service is crucial. This includes addresses facility issues, provides general support to visitors, and effectively communicating solutions in a friendly and professional manner.
