About The Role:

As a Senior Systems Support Analyst you will provide support for assigned production-related systems for major banking and payments clients. This role could be based in Sydney or Melbourne and will see you working within the local Application Support Group and collaborating with global colleagues you will also:

• Provide on-call support for HP Non-Stop Systems and proprietary applications

• Develop and execute scripts and test plans

• Conduct software analysis related to debugging, resolving issues and modifications

• Liaise with internal clients, vendors and global colleagues to resolve issues and deliver results

• Providing rostered on-call 24/7 support to clients (around 1 week per month)

What You Will Need:

• HP Non Stop systems experience is essential for this role

• Previous experience in a Systems Support role with sound experience in programming languages and application development methodologies

• Ability to understand in-house applications

• Knowledge and experience with primary database engines with demonstrated ability to write complex queries for data validation and troubleshooting

• Experience with a wide range of interface design, development and debugging tools, techniques and methodologies

• Knowledge of testing tools and quality control requirements

We are searching for a Business Analyst to join our project team.  This will be a 9 month fixed term role and is to start mid October and can be based in either our Sydney or Melbourne offices.

The role

The Business Analyst for BlueScope’s Workday HCM Implementation will play a pivotal role in ensuring that relevant HR business processes are understood and mapped.

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing business processes and workflows.
• Support the project team across key elements of the project.
• Undertake analysis and documentation of new and revised business processes.
• Ensure processes are clearly documented including workflows, roles, and responsibilities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather process requirements.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to understand current state of process with a view to mapping future state.
• Ensure any corrections to requirements or processes are made as a result of issues identified in testing.

The Purpose:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Product Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving the further development and optimization of our PayID and International Payments Service (IPS) products, ensuring that it meets the continuous needs of our users and aligns with our company’s strategic goals.

As a Product Analyst for PayID and IPS, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data, interpreting market research, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, payment operations, fraud management and marketing teams. Your insights will help inform product enhancements and support decision-making processes. You will utilize data visualization tools to communicate findings effectively and will be involved in developing metrics to measure the product's performance. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a rapidly evolving sector, where you can make a tangible impact on the success of PayID and IPS products.

Primary Accountabilities, Duties and Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyse, and interpret data related to PayID and IPS usage, user behaviour, and market trends.
• Analyse Participant banks’ feedback to better understand business and operational impacts of the products in market.
• Understand the operational and lower-level technical aspects of the products to determine if the application of operational processes is fit for purpose.
• Develop and maintain key metrics and dashboards to track product performance and present insightful reports to stakeholders.
• Determine ways to improve performance through guidance, rule changes and best practices to ensure industry alignment.
• Analyse market research to inform product strategy and initiatives.
• Apply abstract reasoning to complex problems and devise creative solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, payment operations and commercial to align product development with business goals.
• Create and maintain an up-to-date product backlog.
• Assist in prioritising features and enhancements based on user feedback and analytics.

Key Competencies and Skills: 

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Data Analysis, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a product analyst or a similar role in the payments or fintech industry.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation and visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of payment technologies and digital payment systems.
• Exposure in product management methodologies and tools.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Experience with user experience (UX) research methods and tools is a plus.

We have a great opportunity to work within a fast moving, collaborative People and Culture Team where you will use and apply expertise in People and Culture policy, processes, administration, and systems to support our business. As a P&C Operations Analyst you will be providing administrative support to the employee life cycle, including on-boarding, off-boarding, HRIS management, contract management reporting and compliance, amongst other tasks.

You will also support a range of other P&C processes including remuneration and benefits, acquisitions, system implementations and have the opportunity to participate in a range of different projects and committees across the business.

Responsibilities

• Excellent communication and internal network building skills
• Demonstrated experience in managing information in a professional, discreet and confidential manner.
• Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office package, including Word, Excel, Outlook and experience working with HR technology platforms such as SAP Success Factors and HROnboard
• Experience working in a reactive, deadline driven environment and team
• Strong attention to detail
• Previous experience within a people and culture administrative role, ideally with experience in writing employment contracts and employment-related correspondence, confirmation of employment, HRIS management (organisation changes, salary, performance review), maintaining employee files and management of a shared mailbox (acting as a first point of contact for people and culture enquiries, escalating to the greater People and Culture team where necessary)
• Previous experience in generating reports and dashboards and performing analysis on the data
• Previous experience working in a People and Culture role where you have been involved in the provision of advice and support to a business area is ideal
• Previous experience in interpreting and understanding Enterprise Agreements and/or Awards
