About the role

This role supports the Finance Manager in our Pricing & Client Engagement by providing quality financial advice, modelling, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and other financial functions. Finance Business Partners work strategically with their allocated Product domain business unit to meet and exceed their financial targets in the short, medium, and long term.
   
The responsibilities in this role include: 

Decision Support: 

• Partner the BU leadership team with financial decision-making by providing relevant data, analysis, and recommendations.

• Build and maintain financial models, e.g. client pricing and new business models, scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis, and other ad-hoc financial analytical activities as required.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Business Unit Finance team. Focus on enhancing productivity, efficiency, and the overall effectiveness of financial processes.

Reporting (Month, HY and FY): 

• Performance Monitoring: Manage the monthly financial activities end to end for your Domain, covering month, YTD and monthly performance dashboard reporting including variance analysis and commentary.

• Performance Reporting: Prepare and present monthly performance dashboards, highlighting key metrics, trends, and variances. Ensure reports are clear, accurate, and provide actionable insights.

• Accruals & adjustments: Prepare and process accruals or adjustments to ensure that financial statements reflect the true economic condition of the BU.

• Insights: Provide meaningful insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to drive better business performance. 

Forecasting & Budgeting 

• Delivery of financial plans and forecast – construct and maintain a driver based 3-year strategic plan and rolling monthly forecast in accordance with timetable.

• Analysis of inputs, particularly transaction drivers (or similar) working with the business to gain driver-based inputs and insights.

• Prepare qualitative insightful reporting on budget/forecast submissions, including potential opportunity and risks

Our Stewarding Supervisor is required to:

• Supervise and coordinate activities in the Stewarding Department to ensure all Food and Beverage Outlets and the Kitchen are provided with clean and sanitised operating equipment.

• Ensure efficient, friendly and professional food & beverage service is provided to all guests.
• Familiarise yourself with VIP and regular guests to ensure their requests and needs are met.
• Set up systems to protect and maintain control of food service equipment, correctly recording breakages and carry our regular stock takes.

• Ensure team members are competent in menu, dietary and allergens knowledge. Ensure team members have some understanding of beverages and wine list and are competent to make suggestions as required. Ensure staff are aware of current promotions and are able to maximise sales to guests.
• Ensure guest billing is completed accurately following hotel procedure and that correct charges are posted.
• Be knowledgeable of and operate within appropriate outlet and hotel liquor licensing guidelines and House Management Policies.
• Maintain currency of Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification, amendments and updates and adhere to RSA principles.
• Greet and welcome guests, assist with enquiries. Assist guests with menu offerings and maximise sales opportunities through knowledge of product and suggestive selling. Effectively take orders. Ensure accuracy by repeating order(s) to the guests, dockets written clearly and correctly input into the point of sale system.
• Check ordered meals on collection from kitchen and deliver to guests promptly to maintain temperature and appearance; ensure items are announced.
• Maintain clean and neat presentation of bar and restaurant area(s), following set opening, closing and daily procedures.

What will you be doing?

• Ensure vendor information is up to date in A/R module.
• Ensure invoices processed in the A/R ledger are coded with appropriate supplier and general ledger account codes.
• Reconcile suppliers’ statement of account and follow-up for any missing invoices.
• Regularly monitor the A/R ageing report and follow up on any credit notes/missing invoices.

This role supports the Finance Business Manager in our Issuing Product Domain by providing quality financial advice, modelling, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and other financial functions to support all key strategic projects across Cuscal. 
   
The responsibilities in this role include: 
   
Monthly Reporting: 

• Responsible for full end to end (E2E) accounting for all strategic projects.  

• Steering committee reporting packs for all strategic projects. 

• Presentation of project financial reporting to steering committee members as required.  

• Benefit realisation reporting for all strategic projects on a monthly basis. 

• Preparing and posting project journals as required. 

Forecasting & Budgeting 

• Prepare and maintain project budget / forecast models as required  

• Analysis of inputs, particularly transaction drivers (or similar) 

• Prepare reporting on budget / forecast submissions, including performance against target and variance analysis  

• Monthly reforecasting for strategic projects, both cost and benefits. 

Decision Support: 

• Assistance with preparation of Project Evaluation Models, Project Business Cases and other governance artefacts as required for strategic projects and other projects as required.

About You 
In this role within our Project space the role requires the successful candidate to have strong analytical skills and be able to interpret and evaluate data.  You will also bring your strong financial modelling skills to the role along with your ability to understand business objectives and drivers and how they translate into financial measure.
