Head of Finance - Wine 

You will be a commercial leader partnering with the Pinnacle Drinks Leadership Team supporting Pinnacle & Endeavour with expanding the business. With a growth and strategic mindset you will drive business performance through effective leadership and actionable insights. You will sit on the Wine Leadership team and provide strategic finance support to the leaders of the business across numerous sites in Australia and NZ.

• Providing strategic recommendations in-line with strategy to the Wine Leadership team (including strategic insights for the operational assets across Pinnacle Wine)

• Partner with key stakeholders on the feasibility of strategic projects and acquisitions, including preparation of financial analysis / modelling and business cases

• Partner with the wine leadership team to operationalise  Return on Funds Employed (ROFE) growth through commercial decision making

• Deliver reporting and KPI’s across the Wine business including ROFE for investments to inform future decision making

• Proactively deliver insightful analysis and commercial recommendations to the business

• Proactively develop, manage, agree and communicate business budgets and forecasts (including standard cost setting), and any other strategic planning requirements (i.e. 3-5 year plan)

• Ensure robust frameworks are in place for all commercial reporting, ensuring messaging is actionable and insightful.

• Play a leadership role in positioning the finance team as a strategic business partner by driving a focus on delivering value-adding insight and analytics leveraging digital tools, and removing or automating redundant activity.

Shift is looking for a Product Manager to spearhead the launch of new products and manage their growth until they reach scale. What you'll do: 

• Manage 2-3 new products simultaneously, overseeing all stages of the product lifecycle from market research to scaling.
• Identify and define new target markets and serviceable segments for product opportunities.
• Develop a strong market thesis, clearly articulating what Shift can offer SMEs that current solutions don’t.
• Design initial product concepts and organisational structures to maximize the chances of success while managing acceptable levels of risk.
• Translate product ideas into detailed, actionable requirements, ensuring smooth execution from concept to market launch.
• Coordinate necessary organisational changes (e.g., hiring, team expansion, systems updates) to support product launches and ensure the right resources are in place.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to execute on the product vision, driving alignment between product, design, development, and operations.
• Iterate quickly on product features and design to achieve Product-Market Fit, testing and refining the product based on customer feedback.
• Continuously improve the product, incorporating insights from customer usage, market trends, and competitor analysis to optimize the market fit.
• Make data-driven decisions on whether to scale the product as a core offering or exit the market if the product fails to gain traction.
• Ensure regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates on progress, iterations, and strategic decisions.

In this role you will be responsible for the credit performance of Shift’s Trade product against predefined KPIs.  The role encompasses owning credit decisioning models, portfolio management and monitoring the end-to-end operational performance of the business for factors that influence the credit performance of the product portfolio. 

• Own the credit performance of Shift’s Trade product from origination through to recovery ensuring the portfolio grows in line with Shift’s expectations of credit loss. This will involve taking ownership of origination models, customer account monitoring and analysis for of platform and processes for factors that are influencing credit performance. 

• Provide recommendations for changes to the models, credit policy and underwriting guidelines.  

• Serve as a member of the Trade management team, responsible for reporting on the credit performance and its influencing factors to the broader group  

• Ensure portfolio is optimised by ensuring exposure to low risk grade customers is increase whilst reduced to those that deteriorate .

We require a dynamic and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to lead our Food and Beverage team on a full-time basis at our Oaks Melbourne St Kilda Road Hotel.

As the Food and Beverage Manager you will: 

• Ensure smooth and efficient daily floor operations of the restaurant and bar
• Managing the day-to-day profitability, presentation and operation of the restaurant and bar
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company's food and beverage features to promote to clients
