ROLE OUTLINE:

The Performance Media Executive is responsible for supporting campaign implementation and set-up across all digital channels (paid social, paid search, and programmatic). The role will involve managing optimisations & campaign insights to drive media planning for the clients.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: 

• Own the media performance process from activation (buying & trafficking) to converting (optimisation & reporting) of campaigns
• Setting up and optimising campaigns across paid search, paid social and programmatic
• Communicate with the client on reporting, competitive and creative specs requirements
• Implement bid management technology and automated bid rules across campaigns to drive performance 
• Ensure finances & budgets are completed with accuracy
• Create a positive relationship with key media and technology partners e.g. Google, Facebook, DBM, Trade Desk

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: 

• Minimum 1-2 years experience in a performance/digital role, ideally in a marketing agency 
• Experience implementing campaigns across digital channels including paid search, paid social, and/or programmatic 
• Experience working on tools such as CM360, Google Ads, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, DV360
• Strong grasp of Microsoft Office programmes, especially PowerPoint and Excel
• Experience of working within a fast-paced agency environment with high-value clients
• Confident, comfortable, and professional when communicating with clients and third parties

SOFT SKILLS  

• Positive attitude and a strong passion to learn & grow in the performance/digital space 
• Self-assured, resilient, and able to thrive in a fast-changing role
• Comfortable in managing workload and setting/communicating realistic expectations for your own work

What we need

As our Sales Executive, you will be...

• Developing strategic relationships with agencies and advertisers
• Working with the Sales, Account Management and Operations teams to implement targeted sales strategy
• Generating and maintaining accurate Account and Opportunity plans
• Working with internal teams on behalf of clients to ensure the highest level of customer service
• Liaising with technical support internally to resolve issues that directly impact partners
• Managing multiple business initiatives in a start-up environment

You'll have

• Junior level experience in either a media agency or digital media sales role with the appetite and tenacity to take on your first or second sales focused role
• Understanding of the programmatic landscape and a comprehensive knowledge of the mobile advertising market, i.e products, players, and technologies
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• A hands-on approach to tackling tactical as well as strategic sales activities
• A driven, tenacious and entrepreneurial spirit

As an  Account Executive you will  assist the sales team, including the Sales Manager, with quality office support. This will include processing and managing the placement of media bookings, generating reports and other associated administrative work.

You will respond to client requests, and meet and greet with clients at relevant sales functions. You will also be the first point of contact for viewers, responding to email and telephone enquiries in a professional and friendly manner.

Day to day you will:

• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, agencies and clients
• Work with Sales Executives to identify opportunities for growth from new clients, as well as from current and lapsed client lists
• Accurately set up accounts and process advertising bookings
• Manage and deliver campaigns as well as perform administrative project work
• Provide effective, timely and accurate responses to client and viewer enquiries
• Generate and analyse relevant insights and research

The role will vary day-to-day but your key responsibilities will include:

• Manage phone calls and incoming emails/correspondence, redirecting questions and issues where appropriate and/or drafting acknowledgement or responses to email and letters
• Manage diary, including scheduling meetings, prioritising conflicting needs and ensuring time is appropriately available for critical meetings and issues.
• Work closely with the GM Claims, to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments, following up as appropriate.
• Ensure the GM Claims has relevant and appropriate documentation in advance of meetings and events.
• Review and edit reports, presentations etc. as required.
• Develop content for communications either internally or externally.
• Ensure requests/action items for the GM Claims are proactively followed up and resolved in a timely manner.
• Plan and organise team meetings, events and communications.
• Arrange domestic and international travel plans and itineraries.
• Manage ad hoc requests and/or projects from the GM Claims as required.
• Reporting and expense management.
• Communicate directly, and on behalf of the GM Claims, with the Executive Team and their respective EAs on a range of matters.
• Pro-actively establish and maintain strong working relationships with the Executive Team and Executive Assistants.
• Functional responsibilities for the Executive & Personal Assistants within TAL.
