We are currently performing large-scale pooled CRISPR screens and using assays in these screens to identify genes that impact on proliferation, anchorage independence, and tumourigenicity. We are also examining the pre-malignant peripheral immune profile of breast cancer cases and exploring opportunities for drug repositioning from knowledge of the GWAS target genes for prevention and treatment of breast cancer.Role Purpose / Responsibilities:  Applications are invited for an experienced biomedical research assistant to join an established team to assist in evaluating a novel drug for the treatment of triple negative breast cancer and exploring the functional mechanisms behind GWAS targets associated with breast cancer risk.The following duties will apply: Animal handling in primary and metastatic cancer models. Practical experience in the conduct of molecular biology techniques (such as Western Blot, RT PCR, transfection and FACS) and cell culture techniques
Demonstrated experience in data analyses using Microsoft Excel and GraphPad Prism for basic statistical analysis
Commitment to conducting experiments involving humans, animals & GMOs under strict ethical and regulatory guidelines


Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to quickly respond to situations as they arise

Your role

This is a hybrid role that encompasses category, supplier and trade functions. The scope of the role is some of Botany Group’s portfolio of brands and will report to the Head of Category.

What you’ll be doing

• Knowledge: Deep level of understanding in how to analyse data to extract meaningful insights.
• Relationships: You will work closely with our suppliers marketing team members and you will extract and integrate all the necessary inputs required to build retailer reviews, brand plans, JBP’s, workshop presentations etc. This includes but is not limited to; obtaining samples, imagery, marketing plans, overseas data/insights, NPD information.
• Marketing: You will help coordinating the marketing activities with our suppliers, and the in-store activations with our Sales teams.
• Brand Planning: Work with our sales team to develop data led strategies to grow our brands in the Australian market (retail sales, purchases, ex-factory sales). These will be linked to both Botany Group’s budget and our JBP targets with the supplier. You will be responsible for formalizing these objectives, strategies and key results into Brand Plans. You will co-ordinate these plans and keep them updated throughout the year. You will track/report on progress and work with the sales team to modify strategies when needed to ensure targets are achieved.
• Reporting: Update all stakeholder reporting (internal and external) in relation to your portfolio in a monthly basis and add the relevant insights on the drivers of performance.
• Presentations: You will be building best in class presentations such as JBP’s, Retailer Reviews and Supplier Updates.
• Analysis: Analyse the performance of our brands and their competitor set to identify new opportunities and develop strategies to achieve targets. You will perform deep dive analysis using the data sets available. These analyses may come from briefs given by our suppliers, our sales team or yourself in your quest to understand performance.
• Forecasting: Together with the sales team and the Head of Category, it will be a joint responsibility to maintain and update accurate forecasts on a weekly basis.
• TTS and BMI spend management: Trade Marketing; tracking and analysing TTS and BMI spend. You will work with the sales team to develop optimal promotional programs and utilization of BMI spend within our given spend parameters. You will also be involved in the claims process, making sure our Co-Op, TTS and BMI spend is claimed back from your supplier.

To be successful you will have:

- High attention to detail and uses facts to support decision making.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting.
- Proven experience analysing and leveraging data for powerful insights.
- Track record of delivery & ability to work autonomously, always taking initiative.
- Advanced Excel, IRI, Nielsen, Quantium Data Analysis and PowerPoint skills.
- More than 2 years of experience in Category/Marketing/Shopper Marketing.
- Have a bachelor degree or higher qualification.

Job responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls and respond to email correspondence in a fast-paced environment;

KBRV Resort Operations Pty Ltd trading as Kingfisher Bay Resort is the island's premiere 4-star eco-resort. We are seeking a permanent full-time Head Housekeeper (Hotel Service Manager) to serve in the role of Executive Housekeeping and Accommodation Manager.
Kingfisher Bay Resort is World Heritage-listed K'gari (Fraser Island's) premiere eco accommodation. Nestled amongst tree-covered dunes, along the calm waters of the Great Sandy Strait, it is the perfect base for exploration. Employees and guests may discover the island's native surrounds with endless beaches, pristine freshwater lakes, lush rainforests and a spectacular range of wildlife. This 152-room resort features 4 outdoor pools, 3 restaurants, 5 bars and a variety of nature-based activities, walks and 4WD explorer tours.
We currently have a vacancy for the position of Executive Housekeeping and Accommodation Manager. The salary level on offer for the position is $95,000.00 per annum plus superannuation.

Role requirements
• Minimum three years’ Australian work experience as Hotel Service Manager;
• Experience working in a hotel/resort;
• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma or at least three years of relevant experience;
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety;
• The right to live and work in Australia
