The Opportunity

The Technical Business Analyst is primarily responsible for understanding the business objectives and translating them into technical requirements. Working with multiple teams across the business, this role is responsible for translating stakeholder objectives into technical requirements, help articulate business value, assist in identifying solution options including pros-cons for each, support prioritisation and ensure that the changes and impacts are understood by the affected parties.

Responsibilities of this role include (but are not limited to):

• Conduct analysis of business issues, technical challenges and help articulate business impact and value
• Partner with key technical stakeholders to identify solution options, articulating pro-cons for each and assist in designing solution architecture.  
• Work closely with business stakeholders and partner stakeholders in defining and mapping business process, also help them in prioritisation based on business impact and value
• Distill requirements into succinct scenarios (user stories) with acceptance criteria and validation rules
• Coordinate and assist with User Acceptance Testing for technical implementations
• Support change management activities - Work with Power Users to develop user support guidelines and documentation to ensure processes are followed correctly and data integrity is maintained
• Contribute to the assessment of integrating third-party applications into existing systems
• Support Delivery Lead in conducting Agile rituals effectively and also provide relevant information required for project management and governance
• Promote Agile ways of working and help team in improving their understating of agile methodology

This is a 6 month fixed term contract with view to extension.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Strong and demonstrated skills in business process analysis and mapping
• Experience with Salesforce Administration highly regarded
• Strong understanding and knowledge of SDLC within an Agile environment
• Sound knowledge in maintenance and access to data and information, including the ability to identify, design, extract, and report on complex datasets, with a good understanding of SQL and relational data structures
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of configuration and coding practices of SaaS systems, ideally including AWS and Salesforce modules.
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, operate autonomously with little direction as well as see the big picture

The Opportunity

The Student Enrolment Administrator will be responsible for a range of functions contributing to the effective support across our Higher Education Sales Teams.

The role is broad in scope and requires a high degree of initiative, attention detail and self-management to deal with the full range of activities related to the student enrolment. Comprehensive Training & Support

When you join, you'll be thoroughly onboarded with all our systems and processes. We have documentation from how to use our software and accounting systems, all the way to scripts you can use when following up on overdue invoices. We'll also help you upskill and refine your interpersonal abilities, where you'll become familiar with multiple mediums of communication (in-person, email, text, and call).

By the end of your training, the work will become very familiar and you'll have things like the billing schedules memorised in-and-out, and the process of sending or updating a student’s invoice at the back of your palm!

• Managing Invoicing: Issuing invoices to students and parents, and approving invoices issued to students and parents;

As a Senior WordPress Developer at OES, you will be responsible for designing and implementing fast, efficient, and scalable WordPress themes and plugins. You will play a critical role in the full development cycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of our WordPress sites.

In this role, the Senior WordPress Developer will:

• Develop and maintain advanced WordPress themes and plugins from scratch, ensuring they comply with the latest coding standards and practices.
• Optimise WordPress sites for speed and performance, implementing caching and CDN solutions when necessary.
• Collaborate with the design team to translate visual concepts into functional online experiences.
• Conduct code reviews and unit testing to ensure the reliability and maintainability of the codebase.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends in WordPress development, coding standards, security and web technologies.
• Recommend and support 3rd party plugins.

We are seeking an experienced individual with a track record of 3-5 years in the following skill areas:

Technical skills & experience:

• Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3/Sass.
• Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
• Deep understanding of WordPress core software and its functions at the code level.

The Applicant Support Administrator position is a remote, full-time individual contributor role based in Australia. It reports to Gregory Wong (Manager, Operations - Support) in Toronto, Canada. The Support Team currently has team members in Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal and Toronto, Canada, and in Melbourne, Australia. 

Opportunity & Impact

As an Applicant Support Administrator on the Casper Operations Support team, you'll help support our most widely used product, Casper.

Casper is a soft skills test used in the admissions process of hundreds of academic programs globally, including teacher's colleges, engineering, and medical schools. Over 140,000 applicants take the test every year. 

Applicants depend on your work to help them take the test, and their test results empower schools to make informed admissions decisions. That means your work will significantly influence the academic and career paths of thousands worldwide.

In this multi-faceted role, your day-to-day will consist of various supporting activities and tasks, like answering applicant inquiries or assisting with requests from our Support Agents or Customer Success team.

As our Support team members move toward specialized focus areas, you also will become the Casper Operations Support team’s go-to person for Special Test Arrangements.

Special Test Arrangements

In this role, you will lead the support for applicants with disabilities, functional limitations, or temporary medical conditions who need additional time, assistive software, assistive personnel or other arrangements when taking the Casper test. You’ll enable a test experience that meets their unique needs so they have a chance to pursue the education they want.

You get to directly support 1% of all applicants taking the Casper test across all programs and geographies, owning the queue of incoming submissions and responding to the majority of special test arrangement requests, an average of 1,200 submissions a year.

The work entails processing and parsing technical documents, understanding the nature of the requests and identifying deficiencies in documentation or unreasonable demands while protecting the confidentiality and privacy of applicants. 

You'll collaborate with applicants to finalize their special test arrangements, ensuring compliance with our policies. Occasionally, you'll liaise with other team members, including Security and Product teams, as well as external medical professionals and the applicant’s parents, to navigate unique situations. Your evaluations and decisions regarding applicant requests will be informed by their individual circumstances and recommendations from qualified professionals.

Test Support

As an Applicant Support Administrator, you will also immerse yourself in the Casper test experience and help with the behind-the-scenes work involved in scheduling and setting up tests. That includes preparing technical support and personnel and coordinating contract support agents and proctoring teams.

You also get to provide live test support a few times a month. This involves directly assisting applicants with questions and troubleshooting, guiding Test Support Agents and proctors on processes and effective communication, and handling escalating and complex incidents.

Process Optimization

Right now, we’re at the start of a new growth phase, giving you a chance to impact how our test support infrastructure and processes evolve directly and are optimized to support a higher volume of applicants this fiscal year.

Leveraging your drive to challenge the status quo and interest in continuous improvement, you will seek and identify opportunities to streamline and automate our support operations, explore and experiment with solutions, and lead your initiatives to implement new tools, processes, and policies.

An example improvement project includes developing a more robust special test arrangement request review process that ensures qualified medical oversight. Another initiative is collaborating with the Product and Security teams on opportunities for system enhancements to reduce the manual workload involved in processing each request.

As a contributor on the Support team, you'll represent the voice of the applicants and gather and share their feedback, insights, and concerns with our teams. You'll also anticipate and communicate the impact of product and process changes on applicants and advocate for their needs to drive improvements in the Casper test experience.

Measurements of Success

Your success at Acuity Insights is measured by two key metrics: ensuring 100% of special test arrangements are processed on time and Applicant Satisfaction Score, which you share with other Casper Operations team members.

You’ll know you are meeting performance expectations in your role when:

• 100% of requested special test arrangements are processed on time and ready for the applicant at their test time. 
• The Casper Operations Support team maintains an Applicant Satisfaction Score of >6/7.
• Your contributions to streamlining and automating support operations help increase the team’s overall capacity to spend time on other high-value, high-impact strategic initiatives for the business.
• Peers, collaborators, and leaders you support and collaborate with across other functions, like Customer Success, feel and recognize the impact of your work.

Working Hours

2-3 days per week, your hours will be:

• 7 am to 3 pm AEST (5 pm to 1 am EST) to facilitate meetings with Canadian team members and, plus on occasion, participate in live test support.

The remaining 2-3 days per week, your hours will be:

• 9 am to 5 pm AEST (7 pm to 3 am EST)

About the Role

We have a unique opportunity for a driven Paralegal to join our Administrative & Operations department. Reporting to our Chief Financial Officer, you will provide legal administrative services and support to the wider company, from industrial relations, workplace health & safety, disputes, grievances, terminations & data security compliance & process. 

In your role you will also play a key role in overseeing Compass’ Risk & Compliance environment, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards & policies related to Information Security. 

Responsibilities & Duties

• Monitor day-to-day operations of the compliance landscape and implementation of all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Organising and maintaining legal paperwork and key customer contracts.
• Conducting various types of research related to laws, legal articles and drafting various legal documents.
• Provide compliance support to various teams across the company to ensure operational compliance (eg. ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS).
• Overseeing annual insurance  
• Ensure that policies, procedures and standards of conduct are communicated, understood and appropriately implemented.
• Monitor changes to local legislation and rules affecting Compass’ business relating to its product & technology activity.
• Recommend improvements where appropriate and ensure that the compliance manual and policies and procedures are kept up-to-date in light of developing regulations.

• Proven experience in a Paralegal role or similar, ideally within the Technology sector.
