SAER Technologies Pty Ltd (Enfield, Adelaide, SA, 5085) is seeking a Software Engineer on a Full-time basis. As a Software engineer, you will have the opportunity to be part of a team developing and delivering information systems for SAER Technologies Pty Ltd. You will serve as a key member of the Software team working with stakeholders to build scalable and maintainable software applications, as well as implement features on software roadmap and work with business on detailed requirements, including building new features and support existing SAER Technologies Pty Ltd.
Roles and responsibilities:
Writing and implementing software as per requirements
Maintaining and upgrading existing software
Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analyst.
Maintaining and improving existing codebases and peer review code changes
Maintaining and improving existing documentation
Liaising with colleagues to implement technical designs
Providing written knowledge transfer material
Making recommendations for improvement based on performance metrics
Meeting with clients regarding the website design and requirements of the clients regarding the website. Identifying, designing, and facilitating process design modifications with conducting business and systems development analysis and design at a complex level. Collecting and analysing business requirements, documenting technical specifications, and business process plans for the project. Website coding in HTML, XML, or other programming languages. Integrating different graphics on the website, for example: audio and video. Executing design modification by design specifications and Following the ICT-defined documented change and release policies. Designing and implementing electronic forms and workflows to facilitate role-based access controls such as UX design. Using formal business analysis processes, ensure that business needs are articulated and recorded for technical solutions. Contributing to configuration activities for new projects Gathering and analysing business requirements for change requests and new initiatives Maintaining technical documentation and updating status reports Managing project timelines and outcomes and notifying the project manager of any potential risks to the business Working with the ICT project managers, technology service teams, and third-party vendors through business analysis practices. Also, working collaboratively with a web designer, such as a graphic designer involved in website layouts. Testing the website in different types of browsers to check the results.
Minimum essentials for the role:
Minimum of 3-year experience
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to tackle complex technical challenges
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Experience with Azure
Experience in DevOps, infrastructure, software integration
Experience integrating payment systems is a plus
Ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly, have a consistent track record of delivery and excellent software engineering skills.
