What do we look for in a Care Worker? 

• You care about assisting our aged community so they can live independently at home for longer. 

• You have a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle – travel is part of the role.

• You don’t sweat the small stuff; sometimes your customer will be having a bad day or traffic delays you. You know not to take this personally and to shake it off before your next customer.

• You're available to work at least 3 days - Monday - Friday. No night or weekend work here.

• You're comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your Manager for help.

The Data Platforms Manager is a hands-on leadership role within the Advanced Analytics, Centre of Excellence team. This position is responsible for evaluating, onboarding and assisting with the roadmap of data assets, in collaboration with stakeholders across the organisation. 

The successful candidate will lead a diverse, distributed team. The position will act as a liaison between the Information Asset team and the various data product squads across the organisation as well as the transformation program.

This senior role is responsible for coordinating the data asset roadmap across various streams of work within the advanced analytics squads, technology, and transformation programs. The Data Platforms Manager  will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our data standards, facilitating data discovery, and ensuring the effective communication and utilization of our data assets.

• Communicate new data releases to the analytics community. Facilitate data discovery and usage within the broader analytics community. Manage inquiries and provide answers related to data availability and accessibility.

• Maintain and uplift data standards to ensure consistency and quality. Develop, enhance, and communicate data developer playbooks for onboarding, development, and deployment. Document and maintain data assets, ensuring comprehensive and up-to-date records.

• Attend and actively participate in the fortnightly Advanced Analytics Delivery Guardrails Committee to drive outcomes. Consult and author key policies and standards related to data management. Facilitate the approval of data access requests and manage user access controls and PII tagging frameworks.

• Connect with product managers to consolidate the data asset roadmap.

• Attend and consult in AA Architecture forum and trimester planning sessions. Provide recommendations for improvements and feature requirements to the platform team.

• Oversee the ongoing management and enhancement of the Collibra catalogue and its functionality. Maintain and communicate the mapping of legacy data to the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) to encourage its usage over legacy assets.

• Monitor and manage the technical debt of enterprise information assets, ensuring timely resolution and mitigation.

• Address issues related to data discovery, cataloguing, and data lineage visibility. Work on user access control and PII tagging frameworks, particularly focusing on future state design through collaboration with Google Cloud Professional Services.

• Resolve challenges related to data domains, asset ownership, and assets in limbo.

About the role:

The Assistant Accountant supports the finance team in the financial management, control and operation of CDC Data Centres.

The role involves preparation, reconciliation, and analysis of accounting records. The role delivers value through timely provision of accurate and relevant information and analysis, thereby supporting CDC's decision making.

Other responsibilities include:

• Maintain the general ledger, fixed assets, and structure within the finance system, including preparing and posting general journals and managing ledgers up to consolidated financial statements.
• Complete month-end tasks and reconciliations, including balance sheet accounts for inter-company loans, prepayments, and fixed assets, and provide relevant reconciliations and analysis for Balance Sheet and P&L accounts.
• Analyse movements in Balance Sheet and P&L accounts and provide ad hoc reporting as needed.
• Oversee billing transactions to ensure accurate processing of customer invoices, monthly income in advance billings, sundry income, and subleases.
• Set up new customers, change orders, and other modifications in the system promptly, assisting in issue resolution.
• Reconcile group bank accounts daily, resolve reconciling items, and assist in the collections process for overdue debts.

About you: 

This role would be suitable for a candidate who has a Finance, Accounting or Commerce degree and commencing/working towards your CA/ CPA qualification.

• Previous working exposure within a financial reporting-based position.
• Possess strong organisational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Approach tasks with an investigative and analytical mindset, ensuring accuracy and completeness in outcomes.

Essential:

•  Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance.

About the role:

As the Document Control Officer you will support our Operations team in managing the ongoing operations and support of our Data Centres. You will enhance operational efficiency, service quality, and data management practices, driving continuous improvement initiatives and optimising processes.

Reporting to the Operations Centre of Excellence Manager, you will collaborate across various CDC disciplines to maintain high standards of documentation integrity and facilitate smooth operational workflows. Additionally, you will manage our Operations Information environment and standardise formats and structures across all DC operations sites.

Key Accountabilities:

Operations Systems Support: Manage daily system operations, troubleshoot and resolve issues, provide user support, and deploy system updates while analysing processes for improvement.

Document Management System Implementation: Develop and maintain a document tracking system, organise and secure documents, enforce control policies, maintain standards, and ensure compliance.

Document Reviews and Approvals: Set and coordinate standards for document creation, review, and approval, addressing feedback and ensuring quality compliance.

Communication, Training, and Support: Create and update user guides and training materials, deliver training sessions, provide technical support, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Monitoring and Reporting: Track document status, generate activity reports, and align document management practices with organisational goals.

About you: 

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in information management, a keen eye for detail, and experience in complex environments. Experience:

• Strong technical skills with a solid understanding of Microsoft tools and information management software.

Desirable skills:

• Strong technical skills, with a clear understanding of Microsoft Dynamics, SharePoint, and other SaaS systems, including proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs. 
• Microsoft Dynamics certifications (e.g., MB-300, MB-310, MB-320). 
• Developed skills in document control, data management, and information governance specific to data centre operations.
