Due to an internal promotion, we have an opportunity for a diligent, professional and friendly IT Helpdesk Administrator to join our team on a full-time basis at our head office located in Maroochydore.

Customer service is at the heart of what we do, with this in mind you will approach all tasks with a positive and can do attitude. You will use your IT Administrator skills to maintain a high level of customer support for Minor Hotels Corporate and Property Staff. 

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Monitor and maintain operational systems to agreed service levels
• Manage Helpdesk tickets
• Implement minor enhancements to existing operational systems, where appropriate
• Restore normal service operation as quickly as possible with minimum disruption to the business, whilst ensuring that availability and service levels are maintained.
• Continuously gain knowledge of reverent product offerings and systems
• Understand current support polices and methods of support delivery
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with hotel staff and head office team
• Report on relevant service level data on daily basis

About the Role

Due to continued growth within our team, we have multiple roles across Australia. Working as a Desktop Support Engineer you will be responsible for the provision of all aspects of Desktop Services to a key Datacom customer. Aligned to our customers business requirements, we provide tailored maintenance services, hardware and software break/fix support, remote support, software deployment and relocation services.

The locations of our offices for these roles are based in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. These roles are based in the customer or Datacom offices. To be eligible for this role you must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain an AGSVA Baseline clearance.  If you are a Permanent Resident, please specify in your application as we may have other suitable opportunities available across our teams.

What you’ll do

As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will be accountable for, but not limited to:

• Providing excellent technical support in a high-paced environment where customer satisfaction is paramount
• Assisting new users with their IT hardware collection and setup.
• Ensuring new equipment, such as Laptops and Mobile phones, are up to date and deployment ready prior to release to customers
• Recording all customer contacts in the appropriate ITSM tool
• Keeping customers updated with regards to their tickets
• Using tools and processes to deliver services to customers in accordance with SLAs
• Proactively manage and maintain customer infrastructure as directed
• Initiate and drive service and process improvement
• Follow best practice methodologies and adhere to recognised ITIL processes (EG: Change/release)

We have an excellent opportunity for a Customer Service Consultant to join our team on a permanent full time basis in Lidcombe.

In this role, you will be an important member of the Customer Service team reporting directly to the Customer Service Manager where you will provide phone and email customer service, sales and support.

The core responsibilities in this role include:

• Receiving inbound calls and email enquiries from domestic customers
• Proactively making outbound calls to our existing customers to promote our products and services
• Resolving customer queries quickly and accurately
• Scheduling appointments for residential customers
• Converting incoming enquiries into sales opportunities
• Liaising with your fellow colleagues
• Meeting call and internal sales targets
• Maintaining our databases by ensuring customer records and details are up to date while ensuring compliance

Requirements :

• Experience working in customer service or call centre environments (essential)
• Demonstrated experience in phone sales and converting enquires into sales
• Capable of working with multiple database systems and email programs with experience in word and spread-sheet packages desirable
• Proficient with communicating verbally and electronically
• Able to work calmly under pressure while multi-tasking
• Proven problem-solving skills
