About the Student Life Division

The Student Life division ensures the delivery of student-centred support across the student lifecycle that underpins the University’s broader strategic visions by delivering support services and functions that facilitate and enhance the academic mission of the institution.  The Student Life division provides support services and programs that contribute to the student experience and success, including in the areas of health, counselling, disability services, orientation and transition, retention, student wellbeing, and student engagement through the activities of the Flinders University Student Association

About the Role

Flinders University is seeking a motivated Manager, Counselling Service to provide operational and strategic leadership of the Counselling Service including the Intake and Assessment team, Counsellors, project and support staff.

Working closely with the Director Student Life, you will play a key role in ensuring that efficient models of services, systems, projects and processes are in place that support student wellbeing and ensure that demand for service is met. In addition, you will also be responsible for:

• Contributing to the management of programs, project, training and community capacity building activities that aim to address mental health and wellbeing, including gender-based violence prevention and response.

• Implementing a continuous improvement framework to ensure the delivery of quality and timely counselling services and other wellbeing initiatives, programs and projects that reflect best practice and the current higher education sector priorities.

• Ensuring that students in crisis and/or at risk are managed appropriately, including taking a key role in the management of critical incidents and providing expert advice to the Director Student Life and other senior managers.

• Contributing to strategic and operational planning for the Student Life portfolio to deliver high quality, evidence-based support for students that increase student success and wellbeing.

About You

Your high-level communication skills, together with your planning and analytical skills, will be the key to your success, as you demonstrate your ability to provide strategic and operational leadership, communicate with multiple stakeholders with competing demands and manage crisis and risk situations.

The successful Manager, Counselling Service will also demonstrate:

• Registration as a Psychologist with the Psychological Board of Australia or eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.

• Demonstrated experience in providing professional supervision to a team of experienced counsellors, including psychologists and social workers.

• Proven ability to develop, deliver and evaluate effective services and programs that address wellbeing.

• Understanding of the Higher Education sector and factors that impact on wellbeing.

About the role
The National Manager, Service Delivery, Planning, and Coordination manages the Service Delivery relationship with Konica Minolta Customers. The role is responsible for ensuring high-level, consistent service delivery nationally, product reliability, and strong financial performance. The role provides leadership to our field service teams nationally. The role reviews and analyses the performance of our service teams using macro and micro data to ensure customer outcomes, profitability, and efficiency.

• Review and analyse financial data and provide input on improvement measures.
• Review and analyse service data to ensure compliance with company and customer KPIs, and identify and implement corrective actions when required.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement the service strategy.
• Collaborate with service delivery teams across the regions to ensure the seamless delivery of service both during the installation and through the lifetime of the machine at the client site.
• Develop relationships with key KMI stakeholders and coordinate reporting and global strategy implementation.
• Review, analyse, and approve service pricing to ensure profitability.
• Outline policies and procedures for the service teams in the regions and oversee their adherence to the same.
• Set and review KPIs for State Service Delivery Managers to ensure target achievement.
• Engage with the regional services team to review and manage their progress against outlined targets.
• Coach, mentor and develop members of national service delivery and field service delivery teams.
• In collaboration with key internal stakeholders, work towards developing a technical training pathway for Field Service Engineers.

The Customer Service Representative is a member of a team responsible for service excellence with efficient, effective processing of customer orders to enable correct purchase, invoicing and delivery of Alcon product to customers.  The Customer Service Representative is also responsible for the provision of customer services to Alcon’s customers, internal departments, and consumers. This is a busy high volume role which requires someone to be able to multitask and be able to process a high number of orders along with taking calls.

• Facilitate the correct and timely delivery and invoicing of Alcon products and the processing of RANs and credit notes by entering data accurately within Alcon’s business systems.  This requires a high level of attention to detail and understanding of Alcon’s systems and business relationships and how to extract or enter appropriate information

• Continuously access information sources, communications and training to update knowledge and to ensure information and procedures are current and delivered seamlessly and consistently in the Department and actively participate in the identification and development of service level improvements.

• Liaise closely with the sales teams to provide high quality information regarding sales opportunities, customer complaints or competitor behaviour.

• Interprets and communicates relevant pricing/ policy / procedures / changes to customers and staff, ranging from basic enquiries to more complex enquiries including warranty enquiries and Prosthesis rebates.

• Achieve individual and department quality, service and efficiency KPIs which include call pick up time, order entry accuracy and order processing time.
• Important to have high very high Attention to detail and skills to be able to manage high volume of workload.
