About Tractor
We exist to unlock possibilities for founders.
Tractor Ventures provides flexible financing alternatives for founders leading growing technology-enabled companies. We are the centre of gravity for non-venture backed tech founders in Australia and New Zealand. We do this by using our capital, our experience along with our partners and shareholders to assist founders to grow enduring companies. We love founders who take the time to get things right, look after their staff and customers, who blend ambition and caution well, and know exactly why they do what they do.
We’re not a VC, we’re a company that invests in founders out of our dedicated debt facility.
We are a small and mighty team of well-connected operators covering the full spectrum of business, each one of us able to share our experiences and perspectives with founders while also connecting them with the people they need to help their business grow. We love what we do and we get a real kick out of making an impact and helping founders unlock possibilities and build the companies they can be really proud of.
The Role
This is an exciting role within a new and exciting asset class that, at its core, focuses on determining the credit risk of technology companies, but at Tractor, it is so much more than that.
Some key aspects of this role are:
- You’ll get the opportunity to build relationships with founders across Australia and New Zealand, learning about their companies and how additional capital can support their growth and confidence.
- As an integral member of the Investment Committee, you will run a variety of quantitative & qualitative assessments for an under-served asset class, and use your knowledge and observations to contribute towards improving credit decisions.

There is also the opportunity to grow and lead a small team and have a pathway towards a bigger role so if you have some experience in leadership or would like to take that step then we’d love to hear from you.
