Role

Account Managers at First Focus combine their deep technical understanding with a desire to provide genuine customer service and deliver sales consulting. Our Account managers work together with technical delivery and IT support teams so there's no shortage of technical backing when you need it.

This role would perfectly suit someone who is currently an experienced UCaaS Account Manager (obviously) or an experienced UCaaS pre-sales professional looking for their next step,

The perfect candidate for this role will join a team of highly specialised consultants and technical experts. To suit this role, you will have substantial experience working with a range client scales (sub 50 up to 1000 seats) and possess technical and business competence across a broad range of technologies within the IT infrastructure domain.

1. You must have history and demonstrable competence in delivering outstanding pre-sales, sales and/or technical advice within another UCaaS specialist organisation, MSP, MSSP, integrator or other service providing IT business

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an MEP Senior Cost Manager, to join our busy Real Estate team in our Melbourne office. Supporting our Developer, Occupier, Governmental, Health, Education and Tech clients to deliver complicated projects. 

The individual must be self-motivated and Client facing (both internal & external) with the ability to manage multiple projects and clients. This will involve establishing early budgets, early estimating, and cost planning, managing a design team to the budget, tendering and procurement (single and two stage) and post contract reporting to the Client. 

A good knowledge of MEP systems and supply chain is fundamental with the ability to work both collaboratively but robustly with any main contractor and their MEP supply chain.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Commission Management, to include the following, either as part of a larger project or leading an MEP direct commission:

• Assisting on feasibility studies and writing procurement reports
• Estimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan to internal & external clients
• Tendering (single and two stage) and procuring, including managing the pre-qualification stage
• Dealing effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processes
• Taking personal responsibility for making cost checks and carrying out valuations on larger projects and in all cases ensuring that timely and accurate cost checking and valuation takes place
• Producing monthly post contract cost reports and presenting them to the client
• Inputting into value engineering
• Negotiating and agreeing final accounts
• Interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages
• Where appropriate, leading a cost management team, ensuring that they deliver on all of the above accountabilities

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Manager, to lead the Front of House operation of our luxury resort and lodge. This role will draw on your guest service flare and hospitality knowledge. Opening to the public in mid-2025, this role will be instrumental in the concept and creation of the Front of House aspect of our luxury hotel and lodge operation. This is a fun and truly unique opportunity.

• Working closely with the operation providing guidance and support to establish and maintain consistency in the delivery of the food & beverage including pre opening.
• Develop menus and collaborate with the culinary team on site to ensure the delivery of exceptional culinary experiences for our guests ensuring the food offering is unique to the property.
• Provide training to the team, ensuring they are proficient in service techniques, product knowledge, and safety procedures.
• Monitor and control costs, including food and beverage inventory, and other operational expenses, to maximise profitability without compromising quality and guest service.
• Engage with suppliers to source and select products, negotiate contracts, and ensure that quality and price standards are met.
• Continuously evaluate guest feedback and implement improvement strategies to enhance the overall dining experience.

About you

You will have a deep understanding of the Food and Beverage and Hotel industry, with previous experience in a senior position. Ideally, in leading a food and beverage establishment or hotel.

You will have a collaborative working style, be highly organised and be detail oriented. There will be a strong emphasis on continuous improvement to ensure and maintain the highest quality and distinctive service, fostering an engaged, skilled and motivated team. 

The ideal candidate will have:
