Position Purpose
The Electrical Engineer is a key member of our construction team, responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems in renewable energy projects. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, along with practical experience in renewable energy technologies and construction processes.

Adelaide Office - 306 Saint Vincent Street - ANL House, Port Adelaide, SA, 5015.
Main Tasks
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to develop electrical designs and specifications for renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct site surveys and assessments to evaluate electrical infrastructure and identify requirements for system integration, grid connection and optimisation opportunities.
• Design and optimize electrical layouts, equipment configurations, and wiring schemes to maximize energy output, efficiency, and reliability.
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and equipment specifications using CAD software, and coordinate with the drafting team for documentation.
• Liaise with Designers in development of detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and equipment specifications using CAD software, ensuring timely delivery of project deliverables.
• Oversee the procurement, installation, and testing of electrical components and systems, inclusive of 33kv Medium Voltage Network, Optic Fiber and Earthing Networks.
• Provide technical support during construction activities, resolving any electrical issues or challenges that may arise to ensure project milestones are met.
• Perform system performance analysis and troubleshooting to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies and utility companies to obtain permits, approvals, and interconnection agreements for renewable energy projects.
• Conduct commissioning tests and inspections to verify system functionality, safety, and compliance with project requirements.
• Document project progress, deviations, and lessons learned, and provide input for continuous improvement of construction processes and standards.
Qualification and Experience
• Valid Australian work rights.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Driver Licence.
• White Card.
• Proficiency with electrical design software and tools.
• Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles, signal processing, and control systems.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electrical engineering (e.g., NEC, IEEE, IEC).
