As an APS6 Onsite Contractor Team Manager your duties will include: This Contractor will manage on-boarding and off-boarding processes for one of AGSVA's standing offer panels. The role is fast paced and requires strong attention to detail, ability to manage competing priorities, be able to work autonomously, with little supervision and prioritise their tasks. The candidate must also demonstrate strong and confident communication skills, both written and verbal with experience and comfort to engage internal and external stakeholders.
As an Onsite Contractor Team Manager, your duties will include:
Leading a large and diverse Team of Labour Hire Contractors onsite at "Leading" Federal Government Agency
Addressing routine to moderately complex enquiries, responding to internal and external queries
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
Undertake the HR labour hire recruitment role, supporting the Agency with the centralised recruitment function and on-boarding new labour hire staff.
Be the point of contact between the Agency and Randstad in relation to recruitment activities.
Arranging and conducting interviews for candidates on behalf of the Agency across various Regions and Sections.
Onboarding of new labour hire staff.
Arranging contract extensions as requested by the Agency.
Develop and manage effective relationships with labour hire contractors and internal Agency staff members in order to achieve business objectives.
Completing work to a high standard and delivering it within prescribed timeframes.
Other tasks relating to the effective functioning of the Division
Conduct performance improvement plans for various labour hire contractors on behalf of the Agency.
Support an environment that encourages a willingness to adopt participative workplace practices in line with policies of WHS, Workplace Diversity and the Australian Public Services Values, Employment Principles and Code of Conduct.
Your Skills and Experience
To be considered for this role you would have skills & experience and a strong and demonstrated understanding in the following areas:
Previous experience in a labour hire recruitment and management, either in the public service or a recruitment agency with contingent recruitment experience in government
Previous experience with leading and support a large and diverse team
High level of interpersonal skills
High level of attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast paced and ever changing work environment.
Reliable and adaptable to respond to changes in workloads and priorities.
MUST be an Australian citizen to be eligible
Ability to undertake a Baseline Security Clearance
What You'll Receive
$60.00 per hour plus super
12 month contract with potential for extensions
Brisbane CBD location
