What you'll be doing:

• Help build and scale the Wish Local store partner base in the APAC region
• Create and execute short and long term inbound and outbound store acquisition strategy
• Build a team (both internal and external) to help acquire store partners and manage accounts
• Build market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing new business relationships
• Manage and retain relationships with existing store partners
• Represent Wish Local at industry, partner events and business associations
• Be the Retailer advocate within the Wish Local program, helping to drive product roadmap for APAC region
• Demonstrate analytical thinking and leverage data to drive decision-making
• Proactively manage technical and operational hurdles in new store partners’ on-boarding
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with relevant internal stakeholders

The Opportunity

Our Lysaght business is looking for a Account Manager to join the Sales Team based in Emu Plains. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.

As an Account Manager you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of hardware distributor customers, building strong relationships, working closely to identify needs, offer tailored solutions and ensure the continued success of our partnerships. You will also be partnering with key stakeholders across production, transport, and customer service.

What Will You Do?

Providing tailored solutions to our customers, you will also be:

• Managing and growing a portfolio of hardware distributor customers in the steel building products sector.

• Negotiate pricing and product offering to meet customer needs while achieving business goals.
• Identify SOW opportunities and new business growth in your portfolio.
• Collaborate with internal teams.

More About You

Experience in customer service ideally with some exposure to sales or account management.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated with a result driven approach
• A customer focused attitude with a strong drive to achieve results.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Industry knowledge in the steel building products is an advantage but not required.
