Job Description
With a hands on approach, the Revenue Manager is responsible for ensuring the best interest of profitability is served in the overall hotel as well as ensuring the integrity of rates and long-term customer satisfaction to support the overall revenue strategy for the hotel. This role serves as the objective decision maker that will work closely alongside hotel Department Leaders and external stakeholders/owners to maximise hotel performance.
As our Revenue Manager, you will:
- Analyse revenue trends in the local market daily to maximise RevPAR.
- Perform analysis of competitor results using STR tool.
- Advise on future sales strategies, and business plans to increase RGI.
- Prepare Short, Medium, and Long term forecasts, and provide commentary and in-depth analysis to hotel ownership.
- Work closely with operational departments to maximise available inventory, whilst maintaining product integrity and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a strong understanding of market segments, yield management techniques, supply/demand, and complex pricing relationships; continually monitor market demand drivers and adapt strategies to maximize revenue.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 3+ Years of experience as a Revenue Manager in a City hotel, with proven success driving RevPAR and ADR to meet and exceed targets.
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written to be able to navigate stakeholder environments.
- Proactive and analytic mindset with a results focused approach to problem solving.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong sense of initiative.
- IDEAS G3 RMS knowledge will be advantageous to your application.
