About the Role
Due to the rapid growth of the Rivalea business, we are currently recruiting an experienced Senior IBP Planner to join our Supply Chain team. Based at our corporate office in Port Melbourne, the newly appointed will be responsible for improving the planning strategies for our farming and three processing facilities ensuring operationally efficient methods and optimising resources. This position will collaborate across sales, farming, and operations to deliver a sustainable competitive advantage for the company and customers.
Lead the development and execution of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, aligning business functions with our corporate strategy.
Oversee the IBP Process and provide input and support to the Supply and Demand Planning teams to ensure that the ideal business outcomes are facilitated within the process.
Be responsible for the strategy, policy, and procedures of all planning processes among farming, pigs’ allocation, processing, boning, value added, sales.
Develop and encourage a customer-centric culture in the Planning function.
Run the supply review process ensuring long, medium, and short-term capacity requirements are communicated within the business.
Drive effective communication with all stakeholders, supported by factual reporting and analysis.
Develop, implement, maintain, and execute planning parameters within planning systems.
Drive optimal supply planning and execution for new product development, product deletions, and inventory control.
Develop and implement long-term capacity planning and supply network optimisation strategies.
Develop and implement KPI's and drive communication, awareness, and achievement on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis.
Contribute to the ongoing refinement of the planning process, ensuring that the process is adapting to a changing environment in farming operations and sales demand.
Monitor performance versus the demand and supply plan.
Be an important player in the yearly the budget process.
Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Other ad hoc duties as per directed.
About You
Tertiary qualifications in business, supply chain/materials management or related discipline
Previous experience in planning production across large food manufacturing operations
Solid experience in the production process, capacity planning, and scheduling techniques
Strong knowledge of Integrated Business Planning, Integrated Tactical Planning and Demand Management
Proven experience in process improvement
Experience in delivering high quality customer service, providing customers with options and solutions
Ability to articulate key metrics and root causes of performance to stakeholders
Ability to effectively manage people and leading teams including team building, fostering a positive learning culture and driving high performance
High level verbal and written communication skills
Strong experience engaging with and managing business stakeholders
Strong experience with managing complex problem solving, and the ability to develop solutions to meet business outcome
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to effectively manage, organise and prioritise multiple work assignments within a fast-paced environment
Salary range $120.000 - $140.000 annual
