• Proactively managing the Injury Management Process and Return to Work Programs for DOF - APAC within relevant legislative and company guidelines.

Reporting to the Superintendent Mine Water Management and working in a challenging and exciting environment, you will be: Maintaining appropriate water levels in the mine and preventing flooding Involved in identifying, communicating and delivery of productivity and safety improvements. Involved in the improvement to asset availability, life cycle cost and life expectancy. Controlling operational costs related to water management, including energy consumption, chemical usage, and equipment maintenance. Identifying cost saving opportunities through improved water management practices Quickly identifying and addressing water related issues or emergencies, such as leaks or equipment failures. Developing and implementing effective solutions to mitigate risks and minimize disruptions. What you’ll bring Minimum of 5 years’ experience in water resources / mine planning or mine site dewatering is essential. Demonstrated experience as a senior water technician would be beneficial. About the opportunity:

An opportunity has become available to join our team as a Farm Hand on the Kaiuroo Aggregation located near Dingo in Central Queensland. This property is mixed cattle and broadacre cropping property, which will provide the successful candidate the opportunity to develop their skills in the livestock space as well as the broadacre cropping space.

 This is an ongoing, permanent opportunity and is not suitable for backpackers or candidates seeking short term work.

 Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Farm Manager, you will assist with:

• Establishing crops including bed preparation, fertilising, sowing and cultivation
• Crop management including herbicide and pesticide application
• Operating broadacre farming plant and equipment including airseeder, precision planter, self-propelled spray unit and other farming equipment
• Maintaining plant and equipment
• General farm duties including fencing and repairs and maintenance
• Meeting work health and safety requirements

• You will be physically fit, with a good level of general fitness to meet the physically demanding requirements of the role
• You will hold a current driver’s licence
• You will be open to ongoing training and development including vocational training
• You will carry out your work as directed in a precise, safe and sensible manner
• You will be flexible and available to work hours which may vary to meet operational demands
• A positive, can-do attitude is essential
• Previous experience working on a broadacre farming operation, and operating machinery will be highly regarded however is not essential for candidates displaying the right attitude

• An above award hourly rate, based on your skills and experience
