The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a PALM Project Team Lead to join our highly driven, tight knit team. Working alongside the Brisbane team your position with FIP Group will contribute to the overall success of the company, as we work together towards a common goal pf providing a premium service to clients and candidates alike.
As a Permanent PALM Project Team Lead Your Responsibilities Will Include:
• Coordination and implementation of all pre-mobilisation activities.
• Develop and review employee contracts, in line with relevant awards and submit for approval to the Pacific Labour Facility/Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).
• Collate, create, analyse, and submit recruitment strategy for approval to the Pacific Labour Facility/Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).
• Act as an internal and external (DEWR, DFAT & PALM) liaison, to assist in strategic collaboration, for all project related activities to always ensure compliance with guidelines and processes and continuously improve service offerings and meet client needs.
• Work closely with internal and external (DEWR, DFAT & PALM) stakeholders to resolve issues and inquiries related to the project/program (PALM Scheme Mobilisation).
• Organise, attend and engage-in all essential meetings with key stakeholders (internal and external).
• Perform quality checks on all work performed to ensure the correct and timely management of all required data and case management, and where required submit project/program tracking report.
• Participate in process development and improvement to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of all requirements.
• Supervise and assist team to ensure KPIs are achieved or exceeded each week.
• Ensure professional development is undertaken to attain and/or maintain necessary knowledge regarding project specific obligations (such as PALM Scheme requirements).
• Organise and delegate tasks for each program or project.
• Advise and escalate potential issues to senior management and implement actions to address based on their decision.
This opportunity is offering $80,000 - $85,000 per annum plus superannuation.

You Will Also Possess the Following
• 1-2 Years previous experience working within Australian immigration and visa processing.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of relevant regulatory instruments, such as Department of Employment and Workplace Relation Approved Employer DEED and Guidelines.
• Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills and computer literacy.
• Demonstrated high level of written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience in managing a team would be advantageous.
