As the People Operations Manager, you’ll play a critical role in driving HR strategies and managing all People Operations matters for our Fulfilment Centre in Altona North (VIC 3025). This role is ideal for a dynamic leader who can think strategically while providing hands-on support to our blue-collar and white-collar workforce. If you’re experienced in a high-volume, operational setting and ready to elevate the employee experience while fostering a positive workplace culture, we want to hear from you!

Your Role:

• Manage all People Operations topics at the Melbourne Fulfilment Centre, driving HR strategies aligned with business goals.
• Provide strategic and hands-on HR support to both blue-collar and white-collar teams.
• Oversee and refine HR policies to ensure compliance and promote best practices.
• Lead high-volume recruitment, onboarding, and talent retention efforts for a diverse workforce.
• Manage complex employee relations cases and guide performance improvement processes.
• Ensure that all HR initiatives meet legal requirements and internal standards.
• Champion People & Culture programs, promoting an inclusive and high-performing work environment.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to identify HR needs and propose initiatives for ongoing improvement.

• Proven experience in a high-volume, fast-paced, blue-collar or operational environment.
• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
• Deep knowledge of Australian labour laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with a proven ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems, Google suite, and other relevant tools.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with a focus on driving results.
• Resilient and adaptable, with a strategic mindset and a passion for building a positive workplace culture.
