About The Role:

As our Practice Manager you will manage the consulting practice for the implementation of treasury solutions to ensure engagements meet client needs, business requirements and future business growth objectives.

What You Will be Doing:

In this role you will:

• Manage a consulting team and strategy to effectively execute business plans and develop consulting offerings to address market opportunities

• Manage key FIS channel relationships such as sales, relationship management, product management, business unit management and others ensuring continued collaboration to drive results for Practice

• Maintain responsibility for profit and loss of consulting practice including forecasting and managing to revenue and expense targets and communicating business metrics to senior management

• Ensure generated revenue meets or exceeds plan for FIS Consulting Services Business.

• Ensure consulting engagements provide excellent client satisfaction and client loyalty.

• Manage consulting personnel including engagement staffing, staff performance/evaluations, effective communication, career planning and succession planning.

• Collaborate with other Consulting Practice Managers to ensure right resources are working on right work to optimize goals for the entire division based on priorities and demand generated.

• Provide direct sales support throughout entire sales cycle working closely with sales and account management to create and close opportunities including proposal/statement of work development, negotiating pricing, project planning and giving prospect presentations.

• Maintain quality client relationships to gain referrals for new clients

• Nurture relationships, define consulting engagements to support relationship needs and sells the initiative.

• Consult with clients on the most strategic technology projects within a practice area. 

What You Bring:

• A proven Corporate Treasury or Consulting background for large complex multiple industry practices

• At least 7 years’ experience in management ideally in a treasury team or financial services consulting

• Experience of treasury management system implementation and professional services for corporates and/or banking and financial services is preferred

• Broad knowledge of regulatory requirements, financial institution operations, and risk management

• Negotiation skills regarding complex issues and sound experience in relationship management with stakeholders including C Level clients and management

• Adaptable and able to work well under pressure in fast-paced, changing business environments

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or Finance or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience

About the role

Reporting the Cotton Area Manager, the Assistant Cotton Manager holds a critical leadership position within the business and is responsible supporting the coordination and execution of designated area cropping activities and reporting.

Role Overview

• Be a leader in driving a strong Safety First work Culture
• Coordinate machinery activities in the paddock, including machine setup, service, input resupply, refuelling, and logistics management between properties.
• Operate farm machinery for various tasks, including but not limited to spraying, paddock preparation, planting, spreading, irrigation, cartage, and harvest.
• Understanding and setup of infield GPS systems for all machines on farm, including data collection.
• Train and mentor new staff members on machinery operations, emphasising safety, timeliness, technology requirements and quality.
• Coordinate with external parties, such as contractors and delivery drivers, making sure all documentation is captured and
• Maximize the efficiency of machinery operations, especially when multiple machines are working together, such as multiple seeding rigs, sprayers, pickers or spreaders.
• Observing and monitoring crop health, growth stages and reporting to the Cotton Manager, or agronomists.
• Assist in the testing and recording of crop quality and production numbers as well as ensuring the safe storage and handling of commodities during and after harvest.
• Foster a learning environment, where staff are encouraged to ask questions and learn new things, with a strong focus on staff development.
