We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior HR Advisor to join our team in Sydney. This pivotal role requires a seasoned HR professional with 6 - 8 years of experience, a strategic mindset, and a proven ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders across different regions. Experience in working within a multinational or cross-regional environment is highly preferred. The successful candidate will play a critical role in aligning business objectives with people strategies, ensuring workforce growth and development while fostering a positive, high-performance culture in a global context.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Strategy & Business Partnership:

• Collaborate with business leaders across regions to develop and implement people strategies that support global and local business objectives.
• Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert HR guidance on talent management, succession planning, and organizational development, with an emphasis on cross-cultural dynamics.
• Partner with senior leadership to influence and implement organizational change initiatives that enhance employee engagement and business performance across multiple regions.
• Proactively assess and address the HR needs of the business, ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives on a global scale.

Employee Relations & Performance Management:

• Provide expert advice and coaching to managers and employees on employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with both local and international labour laws.
• Oversee and guide performance management processes, supporting managers across regions in delivering effective feedback and developing their teams.
• Lead and manage sensitive employee relations cases, such as grievances and disciplinary actions, while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Collaborate with managers to implement performance improvement plans, ensuring alignment with global HR practices.

Change Management & Organizational Development:

• Lead and support organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and providing guidance on restructuring and workforce planning, particularly in multinational contexts.
• Develop and implement strategies to manage the impact of organizational changes on employees across different regions, including communication plans and support structures.
• Act as a change agent, driving initiatives to continuously improve HR processes, policies, and systems across borders.

HR Reporting & Compliance:

• Analyse HR data and metrics to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership for strategic decision-making on a global scale.
• Ensure compliance with local and international employment laws and regulations, including guidance on employment contracts, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor and report on key HR metrics, such as turnover, retention, and engagement across different regions, recommending actions where improvements are needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in HR, with a strong focus on HR business partnering, employee relations, and talent management, preferably within a multinational or cross-regional environment.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, influencing and driving business outcomes across regions.
• Excellent knowledge of Australian labour laws, with an understanding of international HR best practices.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work across cultures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing multiple priorities across regions.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights for a global workforce.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

The role: 

We’re on the lookout for our first Product Manager, reporting directly to the General Manager. 

The role will be instrumental in keeping TransVirtual at the forefront of the logistics SaaS space in ANZ whilst helping us develop and deliver solutions to support our growth in North America and beyond. 

About you 

The perfect person for this role is a commercial orientated product manager looking for a role with broad responsibility.  

• Leverage feedback and research to create a strong product roadmap. Prioritising both on a needs and revenue basis to maximise benefit 

• Document requirements from high level scoping through to detailed dev requirements 

• Become the internal subject matter expert on product, leveraging peers for guidance before taking on that mantle over time 

• Collaborate with and guide the engineering team to commercial outcomes 

• You’ll work with our product designer to create beautiful designs and workflows  

About the team 

We are an agile team, with our own variations, and change is just another day, so being adaptable is important. 

We’ve got new product development underway in parallel to back and front end replatforming which will offer UX and UI (and other) improvement to clients. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Work closely with our clients and your colleagues (especially those with industry experience) to determine the challenges faced and how our products can help them overcome these 

• Collaborate with the GM to refresh our product roadmap, using competitor intelligence and client requirements to inform decision making 

• Leverage the strategic overview to guide development priorities during backlog grooming and sprint planning to ensure outcomes align with our objectives as well as with customer need 

• Work across multiple projects in parallel to ensure smooth delivery aligned to user needs and commercial requirements 

Knowledge and skills: 

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience 

• Strong design background, possibly a graphic designer or product designer 

• Experience creating workflows and automating them for customer experience improvements 

• Commercial acumen with demonstrable ability to connect customer need and revenue based decision making 

• Independent worker, comfortable between the balance of executing and strategizing 

• Possess a proactive, positive, and professional approach their work 

• Direct experience in logistics is an added benefit
