Responsibilities:

• Identify and attract new institutional clients through cold calling, networking, and existing contacts
• Close deals with institutional clients, ensuring quick onboarding and revenue generation
• Build a pipeline of qualified leads and engage with potential clients in the FX, metals, energy, indices, and crypto sectors
• Recruit and develop partnerships with Introducing Brokers (IBs), creating incentive and support programs
• Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and other industry events to expand the professional network
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to provide actionable insights
• Track sales activities, maintain detailed records in CRM tools, and prepare performance reports

• 5+ years of direct sales experience in the FX industry, specifically selling liquidity solutions to institutional clients

• Demonstrated success in closing large-scale deals and consistently exceeding sales targets
• Extensive experience in generating cold leads and converting them into long-term clients
• Deep understanding of FX liquidity provision, trading platforms, and market dynamics
• Strong existing network of institutional clients, including banks, hedge funds, and proprietary trading firms
• Proficiency in CRM software (SalesForce) and sales analytics tools
• English C1+

About The Role

As the Marine HSE Manager at Journey Beyond, you will be the cornerstone of our commitment to health, safety, and environmental excellence across our marine businesses. In this key position, you will be responsible for implementing and reviewing our comprehensive safety framework and HSE Strategic Plan, ensuring that all procedures and work practices align with relevant Australian Standards, safety legislative requirements, and corporate policies.

Your primary focus will include conducting regular Safety Audits across all marine operations within the Marine and Attraction and Dining Divisions, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement. You will play a vital role in updating Safety Management Systems (SMS) to reflect any amendments to Marine Order 504, providing critical oversight and guidance that helps drive a strong safety culture.

In addition to leading investigations into health, safety, and environmental incidents, you will coach and educate managers and team members, fostering a workplace environment that prioritises safety and proactive incident reporting. You will coordinate and facilitate meetings for the Marine Advisory Safety Committee and the Management Safety and Compliance Committee, ensuring timely and effective follow-through on actions determined during these meetings.

Your leadership will extend to working collaboratively with Business GMs to enhance staff capability through comprehensive training, emergency drills, and workplace inspections. You will also be instrumental in implementing health and wellbeing strategies, along with managing the operational HSE risk register to mitigate risks and advance safety performance.

This role offers you the opportunity to make a significant impact on the safety landscape of Journey Beyond, ensuring compliance and high standards of safety practices across our marine operations. Your Role & Team

This is a pure B2B Business Development role that is responsible for the entire 360 sales cycle from initial prospecting and hunting through to closing out new opportunities across our Key Account Segment (Clients with turnover >$250M PA). Additionally, your time will be spent managing and nurturing existing accounts (post-close) for up to 12 months, where further upsell/ cross-sell opportunities will exist.

This role reports directly to the Sales Manager – Key Accounts and is a full-time opportunity offering hybrid working conditions based out of our Sydney CBD office.

Some of your responsibilities include and are not limited to:

Strategic Business Development:

• Identify new business opportunities within the key account portfolio and expand relationships across different divisions or subsidiaries.
• Develop and execute territory and account-specific growth strategies to increase wallet share and establish long-term partnerships.

 Solution Selling & Value Delivery:

• Deeply understand CreditorWatch’s suite of products to communicate the value proposition effectively.
• Provide product demonstrations, client training, and value propositions to ensure clients fully leverage CreditorWatch services.

 Client Engagement & Relationship Building:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives.

 Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination:

• Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, Data Acquisition, and Product teams to ensure smooth delivery of services and continuous product improvement based on customer feedback.
• Partner with the Technical Pre-Sales team to assist in complex solution implementations and provide technical expertise to clients including tenders and RFX.

 Sales Reporting & Forecasting:

• Track and report on account performance, revenue growth, and key sales metrics.
• Prepare and deliver account reviews, sales forecasts, and pipeline reports to senior management.

 Market Awareness & Competitor Analysis:

• Stay up to date with industry trends, market developments, and competitors to provide insights that inform strategy and client engagement approaches.
• Provide feedback to the product team to ensure CreditorWatch offerings remain competitive and meet market demand.

Our ideal candidate

To be successful in the role, you’ll ideally have worked within in a quota-carrying AE role (preferably in SaaS) for at least 7 years, managing complex sales cycles (6-12 months). You will be a natural hunter who enjoys identifying, hunting and closing new business. You’ll have strong communication and problem-solving skills which will enable you to have the right conversations to then uncover the Customer’s needs and provide strong solutions.
