About Us 

Online Education Services (OES) is an education provider that partners with universities to provide purposefully designed and highly engaging online programs. This position will be working within OES in association with Queensland University of Technology Online.

QUT Online delivers world-class learning though degrees specifically designed for the online student. Each degree is tailored to provide opportunities for students who are often unable to undertake university studies on campus.

Our Online Learning Advisers (OLAs) are the subject matter experts who facilitate the student’s learning, with a focus on helping them achieve their goals.

What You Will Do

Our OLAs are responsible for the following:

• Providing an exceptional student experience through the delivery of academic content developed by our partner academics and our learning design team 
• Facilitating learning activities that engage and support student learning 
• Undertaking assessment tasks (including moderation, marking, and feedback) as well as processing and submitting results according to set timelines 

Online Learning Advisers are not required to establish curriculum, design learning activities, schedule learning and teaching, set assessments or develop marking schemes.

Who Are We Looking For? 

We are looking for OLAs to teach units with in our Innovative Learning Design discipline. 

• You will hold a minimum of Masters level qualification in a relevant discipline eg Education
• 5+ years experience working with Education, industry or community partners in Adult learning.
• 5+ years experience in designing learning experiences that apply Andragogical and pedagogical design principles.
• Knowledge of the Australian education system or ability to acquire this in timely manner
• High level of spoken and written English.
• You are motivated by student success and passionate about online learning
• You are a passionate and clear communicator 
• You have strong presentation skills and the ability to maintain an engaging and positive online presence 
• You are proactive and organised
• You thrive in a remote working environment

You will:

• Possess exceptional knowledge of enterprise CRM or ATS systems and  the SAAS ecosystem, display outstanding presentation skills, and have strong team values. 
• Be pulled into demos, discussions and various use-case scenarios, assisting reps on various types of technical and implementation conversations, particularly around integrations, system architecture, security and data privacy. 
• Scope services engagements for all enterprise prospects both for internal services teams and key SI partners

Responsibilities: 

• Partner with account executives by leading the technical sale process for customers including discovery, demonstrations, pilot management, training, due diligence, and security discussions
• Join technically-oriented calls and conversations with prospects and clients
• Collect, spec, and manage product and engineering requests from the Sales Team.
• Document pre-sales findings and solutions discussed to be reviewed with implementation services to ensure an amazing customer experience.
• Assist with and advise on integration implementations.
• Document and negotiate enterprise SOWs and add-on services
• Spearhead RFP and Security Questionnaire completion with dedicated coordinator
• Prioritize opportunities while applying appropriate resources

We are seeking a Senior Product Design Engineer with a strong mechanical design background to lead our product development efforts from concept to mass production. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in product design, preferably with knowledge of LED lighting products, associated electrical components, and wiring diagrams. Proficiency in SolidWorks and supervisory experience are essential, as you will be managing one subordinate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of new products from concept through to mass production.
• Utilize SolidWorks to create detailed mechanical designs and drawings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet customer requirements and company standards.
• Oversee the design of diecast, plastic, and extruded aluminium components.
• Manage and mentor a junior design engineer, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
• Conduct design reviews, provide technical support, and resolve any design-related issues.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our products remain at the forefront of innovation.
• Apply knowledge of optical design, if available, to enhance product performance.
