Sodexo have an opportunity for an Accommodation Administrator with reporting and IT skills to provide support to our Managers and staff at our Dysart Village.
As a Accommodation Administrator , you will contribute to the day-to-day operations of our accommodation site by providing excellent customer service via phone, face to face and email to improve the quality of life of guests and other staff at their home away from home.
Who are we looking for?
Our Accommodation Administrators are team players. They have a can-do attitude, are flexible to work across many departments and always remain focused on safety and service delivery. Reporting to the Village Manager, you will have excellent organisation skills, customer service skills and the ability to work under limited supervision.
Responsibilities, not limited to:
- provide direction to new starters and new arrivals during guest check in
- run reports hourly of new arrivals, organise site entry, key replacements
- communicate closely with housekeeping staff re required cleans and any maintenance issues
- assist in the retail shop
- keeping reception area tidy
- ordering supplies
- flexibility to support the team where required including making beds, cleaning ablution facilities and other utility tasks as required.
You really are the 'backbone' of our sites team, closely supporting the on site manager. You will contribute extensively to the effective day to day operations and provide a service for customers, ensuring that each experience is as close to that feeling of being in a home away from home.
This position is a Local hire role from the Mackay region only, you must have your own car. FIFO will NOT be considered.
To be successful, you’ll need:
- Australian Citizenship, or full Australian working rights
- Able to undergo a pre-employment medical, including Drug & Alcohol testing testing before the start of every shift and a National Police Check
We’d love to hear from you if you’ve had previous experience in Administration, hospitality such as catering, housekeeping, cleaning or bar and retail. Working on-site with our teams means you’ll be working often in extreme environments. So, having a good level of fitness will help you get through each day.
